By the way, I love touring the wine cellar. It’s great.
Plus, I am a huge fan of the Central Coast in California and stuff from Larry Turley/Ehren Jordan, Stephen Asseo, Matt Trevisan, Justin Smith, Chris Cherry, etc. Please keep this stuff coming (the Turley’s, L’aventure/Stephan Ridge, Villa Creek, Linne Calodo, Saxum, etc.) (although I’m still waiting for a sale on the 2003 Rocket Block and Broken Stones you have in your cellar!) I’m finding that I don’t have to go to Paso Robles nearly as much any more now that you are carrying all this stuff.
Please keep up all the great work.

The wine room is impressive, are all the wines in a temperature controlled environment (i.e. 55 degrees, controlled humidity?) Also are wines shipped to the store in temperature controlled environments? I know of one other store that takes that kind of care in NJ. I plan on visiting someday soon. Love Wine TV!
I’ve been to WL on several occasions, but I haven’t been in the wine room yet. I’m checking it out on my next trip. The floor is real cool touch. Reminds me of a bar in my neighborhood that was constructed from stone and wood that was salvaged from a Gothic Irish Monastery.
Wow……… Tastes of the world all in one room. Certainly a destination trip for us this summer!

Gary…your wine cellar is amazing! It reminds me of a wine store that I went to in the medival city of Urbino, Italy. If you’ve ever been to La Marche, you might be familiar with Urbino. Urbino is considered a prize from the Renaissance and is known for being the birth place of Raphael Santi. Anywho, the store was built in the side of a Palazzo Ducale and was filled with stone arches, 100 year old oak shelves, and had the same 100 year old grape/wine staining the stone floor. The more I see your store (from various episodes), the more I believe you created the perfect combination of knowledge, class, charm, while adding modern elements to keep it feeling fresh and clean. To be perfectly honest, you’ve created a store that I would fly from california to see.
That is one room that I would not mind being imprisoned in for the remainder of my life on this earth.

Beautiful wine room. Can’t wait to drop by and visit my home state again someday.
I’m going back and watching all your early episodes.

Wow, I love your wine cellar. I have grand visions of having my own some day. I started down that dark path when I just recently got my first wine fridge that hold about 32 bottles. Soon after filling it up with wine (I still don’t know where I got it all since it happened so fast), I got a wine rack that hold another 36 bottles. It’s getting out of hand now, but I have no intention of stopping it. I’m just gonna let it happen.
I live in the UK and it’s hellishly expensive to visit the US. But in a few years I’m definately coming to visit the US, and I’ll definately stop by the Wine Library, and hopefully meet Gary himself.
