    Gary,
First guest on the show. Bet he feels stiffed knowing that guests today almost always get two part episodes :-) Will definitely have to seek out some White Burgandys and will see if 04s are still around. Wonder who will be the first guest to ask the question of the day.

I’m going through your episodes and is wondering what happen to episode 7-13? The episodes listed in Feb 2006 is from epd 1-6 and in march it starts from epd 14-23. In april it is from epd 30-39. Epd 24-29 is missing. May is epd 40-45. June is epd 47-56. Epd 46 is missing. So from what I can see is there are a lot of episodes missing, I just don’t want to miss out on anything as my plan is to go through slowly from episode 1 onwards…do let me know where I can find those missing episodes.
Great work and thanks for showing the fun side of wine drinking and btw the informations are mind blowing.

First appearance of credits after the episode.

Gary looked a little restricted and uncomfortable. Maybe it was the presence of a suit or maybe it was that turtleneck of his.

    nice interview. get fa’shnikin!

    Hi Gary,
I’ve only been watching your shows for about a week after getting the podcasts on ITUNES. These are FANTASTIC!!! I wish I had seen this earlier so I could have gotten a Christmas ‘07 pack and done the wine tasting with you on your Christmas show. Like others, I’ve started going back to your earlier shows and I think this is just great. One guy commented that it looked like a high school production and that is what I think is so great about your vlogs. Simple, to the point, and very informative AND entertaining. MUCH BETTER than if it was a slick production.

Great idea having a guest speaker. I really like hearing about the wine from the one that should know it best. It’s also nice to find out more about the background of the wine makers. I’d like to see more of these.

Hey Gary, Love the show!! Saw most of the latest episodes and figured I’d start from the beginning. What is this white burgundy wine? Is it still available? Also, you sometimes, but not always, recommend cellar durations, I find this helpful because I’m trying to get a good collection going and am about a month away from having my cellar completed.

Anyhow, all you people at wine library tv are awesome! Keep up the good work!

Oh yeah, one more thing, shared the Turnbull ‘04 Cabernet with my father over father’s day. Great recommendation, we loved it!

It is fun seeing guests on the show. GV – Did you ever think that one of your eventual guests would be Dick Vermeil? Crazy times!

Love the scroll feature at the end of the show…..
I know nothing about White Burgundy and frankly the category scares me to hell. So expensive, you need to really know the region, producers etc…I’d love to see more White burg on the show.

You’ve got to be kidding me with these videos. They are silly. Looks like something created at the grade school level.

…Excellent !.Finally the “ordinary wine drinker” can see the inner workings of how a wine is reviewed and enjoyed (in crisp demostrations). By ordinary , I don’t mean any disrespect, I simple mean that there are many of us that drink wine on a regular basis, and are somewhat “in the dark” on terms/tasting and the “how to” of enjoying it. Much the same as a person viewing a painting and not being a student of art. Your videos have given us “a close brush stroke” look.
I thank you Gary on your foresight of putting these videos on-line.

    Gary,

I’m addicted to Gary TV. You are doing a fabulous job. You have added another layer of credibility to this site. I’ve always been hesitant to buy based on WL ratings (hard to tell what’s real and what’s marketing/sales push), but I feel confident on your honest and detailed assessments. You know your stuff and are willing to rave when it matters and are unafraid to share your disappointments.

Winelibrary.com is my favorite website. I visit it everyday to check what’s new and “this just in.” I would love to see a seperate section that actually shows “this just in” by day added so I can see exactly what is new and available to order.

Your tasting notes are terrific and I would encourage everyone who has bought your recommendations to post on the direct wine link to verify, differ or debate.

I just had the Two Up Shiraz last night and it was amazing for $14. Really impressed. Syrah is my favorite varietal, but I am not a fan at all of Australian shiraz (with the exception of Clarendon Hills and Two Hands). Most taste thin or medicinal. I usually stick to California or France. You’re turning me around! Thanks for all the hidden treasures which I think is an excellent way to approach Gary TV.
