Egelhoff wines are always great! His Walton Label is a winner too. I have tasted many of the wines he's made. (Partridge, Phelan, d. Arthur. etc.) His own label is even better.

You are right on with your review. I barely made it past 2nd grade, but I do see the value in Bob's wines.

Glad I stumbled on to your website.

Have never really tried any California cult wines. Mainly scared off by the price and the amount of them out there. Never know which one of the twenty or so Cali cabs in the store for $75-100 is worth getting over any of the others.

nice episode, even if I'll never have this wine. it was educational.

2nd grade?! don't get me started.

I really love this episode. I guess what I could say is that I hope that you keep trying to expose us to things that are completely different. I had never herd of this until this episode and I love that. Thanks Gary!

This is definitely not 2nd grade level. This is covering some very basic information, but it's also catering to those of us that want a little more than just a score. I think it makes the rating of the wine more real when you have somebody that can, essentially, discuss the wine and give you an almost-live interpretation about what they thought about the wine. I'm sure that there will be other episodes that will appeal to those that want to get technical. This is REAL value here. Let the 2nd graders go and pretend to be big kids while those of big kids actually reap the benefits of the knowledge that you are sharing with us. Remember, nobody forces us to click the "play" button to watch these vlogs.

I will definitely be on the look out for Egelhoff.

I don't know if I have left a criticism yet so I'll start working hard to come up with one. Ha.
