Ciao Gary

Did a search here for Vacqueyras, one of my favourite Rhone wines and saw just two episodes! Can we have a Vacqueyras episode soon, esp with the 07 CdPs kickin ass, anyone "balling" lower would get some great value here.

Vacqueyras and Chinon! Definitely 2 underrated French wines. Especially Vacqueyras in my opinion, {but I have had alot more of that than Chinon.} one of the 1st wines I added to my wine list. Although the underrated part is kinda nice since you can get great wines from there that are still at affordable prices.
Speaking of underrated wines, how about doing a vin jaune or charbono tasting Gary? That would be fantastic to see.

I definitely think we need to do an updated vacqueyras, just had one for the first time (07 murailles), SPECTACULAR! 50/50 soil driven vs fruit driven wine, amazing.

Nice hair.

I might pop the bottle of Noblaie I bought from WL tonight. Different vintage but I think you tasted it in the 200th episode. Man, no wonder Gary never posts responses in the comments anymore, besides being swamped he constantly gets second guessed. I just don't get that, but oh well the show must go on....

I have never had a wine from either of these regions - looks like yet another area I am going to need to check out.

Wow, a little controversy about the wine being corked. I've had a corked bottle before, and it a very distinct taste. You can usually tell if it's the wine or if it's been corked.

[...] Syrah. It’s not the more expensive Clos Montirius Vacqueyras that Gary Vaynerchuk is tasting here; last time we sampled the two side by side we felt that the plain Vacqueyras represented better [...]
