Good episode Gary. Noticed that you mentioned again that people were asking you if you were sure the wines you were tasting were corked or not. Very surprising to me that anyone would bother asking that question. I can't imagine anyone having a video wine blog on top of being able to provide the descriptions you do, and not being able to tell if a wine is corked. The idea almost borders on science fiction. A great surprise for me would be seeing you do a charbono or vin jaune episode, not very well known wines, would love to hear you're thoughts on those 2.

I agree on the drinking window as well. That's always a nice thing to know. Since Americans seem to drink wine too soon, it's good to know approximately how long one could keep a wine to be able to enjoy it at it's best. Obviously, you may not be able to tell the exact time when it will be at it's best, but an educated guess would be much appreciated.

I love what the first commenter said about giving a drinking window on the wines. I hate shelling out $50 for a wine only to find that I can tell it's great, just not quite ready to drink. I also really appreciate your honesty on these wines even though you sell them, that's very commendable.

John Roi...I feel the same way. I've been thinking about keeping a wine journal as I can't always recall what was great, good, or crap from vintage to vintage. Maybe there's an online site that has this aspect to it where people can comment on each others experiences. Gary? Erik? Do you guys know of any?
