Can't belive there are only 18 comments with a Mondavi on the show..I believe his Dad is Michael Mondavi?? If so, I met Michael last year at the WL and he was a great guy so I see where Jr's personality and looks come from. Priorat is a great varietal and I love Spainish wines. www.winelx.com

Rob Mondavi jr. has a huge name to live up to.I believe he will restore the family bussiness to the ideals that were important to the original 'brothers'. As for the blogger saying that Rob is an as**ole I feel the need to comment. I've known Rob many years and even went to elementary school with him. He was one of the kindest souls I have ever known and I only hope that my daughter has the oppoortunity to see that the name of a man does not determine his worth but rather his challenges. We all live in shadows of one sort or another and I believe with all my heart that Rob will let his light shine. This man will be a success not because of his name but because of the respect he has for the craft and his understanding of the sensuality of wine. Rob Mondavi is a respectable man with family morals making beautiful wines for us all to enjoy. Thank You Robby

Nice to see Robert Mondavi Jr. on as a guest. Always happy to see as many episodes on Spanish wine as possible too. Great values coming out of there. Robert does come off as a total businessman, which always makes me a bit more skeptical about what I hear. If you could get a vin jaune winemaker from the Jura region on, and do a vin jaune tasting, that would be fabulous. A charbono tasting would be alot of fun to see also.
