Nope, although ironically I really liked beaujolais when I was younger… somehow my tastes changed and now I can’t stand it. Kinda strange

GOL – Not a big gamay fan?

DuBoeuf Beaujolais – GV once asked what wine will you never drink again. That was my answer. So it would be fun to see GV clank that crap out into the WL parking lot

Speaking of Beaujolais — I noticed that you’ve got 14 Cru Beaujolais for sale on your site. I’d love to see a show on that (before you do the Beaujolais Nouveau show of course)…

I loved the one where you told people to stop drinking Rosemount Estate that was the best. Very funny and you were angry. Congrats on the BIG 100 can’t wati for 200…. Justin

Hi Gary — Congrats on making it to 100! Looking forward to the next 100. Favorite episode: #99 as it exposed some of the biggest names in the wine business. Wine is definitely something where bigger is often not better…

I’ve learned a lot from the first 100 and look forward to learning more…

Congradulations on 100. Having your Dad show up was a very classy touch. Been lurking for a very long time; favorite #47. Really surprised to see geographic diversity of people commenting. Lose perspective of how widely WLTV is seen. The lurkers in our office don’t think too much about this since we can drive over in about 20 minutes and usually pick up a “taster” and go back and review an earlier episode.

Holy crap that’s a lot of posts…don’t any of you work?

I almost forget. It was nice to see your dad, and the great relationship between you guys. I have that with my dad, and I maintaining the tradition with my 11 year-old son.

Gary…great way to cap 100 episodes! It was entertaining from start to Mr. T finish.

Favorite episode??? It has to be Episode 99. You spoke from your heart about what you’re about, why you do what you do and showed the true character that keeps us coming here every day.

I raise my glass to your effort and commitment. CHEERS!

By the way, I’m just kidding above..it’s hill-arious. I meant to put a smiley face at the end :-)

Brandon M is the BEST!!…certainly a top 3 candidate for WLTV’s MVP this year!!

Brandon, keep on Truckin’ my brother. And don’t feel so bad…. I’ve been accused of MURDER!!

In the previous episode (Another Look Back), Ed R theorizes that, “Zerocreap killed Gary in the conservatory with a candlestick”. (comment #188)

“Susan” replies, “No, I am sure that SS Chris killed Gary with the Revolver in the Kitchen!” (comment #202)

Somehow, I’ve gone from slightly obsessed, overly-organized SS-guy to OJ. This is an outrage!! J

TimF – I agree on the Nouveau – I have been getting e-mails from some folks with pre-sale info – air shipments should be in as soon as November for the 2006!!! Great Idea!!!

Plus – Gary – it will not break the bank to do this ep.

Speaking about Beaujolais… Gary — You should do a show the first day Beaujolais nouveau is released to kick off the season.

Brandon M is not a shill, he’s a groupie. And he just might be in love with Gary.

VAYNERNATION, Here’s an update to my SS Analysis of the huge increase in #’s of “comments” on WLTV. This includes all non-numbered entries within each specific range (i.e. the 2 “Look Back” Episodes). This includes the up-to-date #’s including a correction of an error that I discovered with my initial #’s (comment #137 above).

    ~First 80 Episodes(1-80 / 83 entries) – 2,194 Total Comments

    ~Last 20 Episodes (80-100 / 23 entries) – 2,492 Total Comments

    Explosive Growth…Amazing!!…Congratulations Gary & WLTV!!

To answer McGeyver, comment 116, RP defines backward as:

An adjective used to describe (1) a young largely unevolved, closed, and undrinkable wine, (2) a wine that is not ready to drink, or (3) a wine that simply refuses to release its charms and personality.

“E” – E-Mail me about the Beaujolais. I should be able to make a couple recommendations for you with WS Reviews and a few of my notes on 2003’s. jason@ikela.com

I believe that is 4 of us from IOWA!!! Wow – I think that there are more from Mexico.. LOL

    Gary,
The episode # 54 was my favorite. I was very tempted to say # 96 probably because I loved the beginning.

And, we need more of that.
    And, give us more entertainment.
And, I would like to see interviews with your customers.
And, I am sure that you have interesting people regularly in the store.
And, they don’t have to be famous.

Thanks for 100 episodes! Was it SS Chris at the end?

Favourite episode: #47 “Diamonds in the Rough” – love the debunking/education episodes that cut through some of the hype myths. Way to go Gary…

Congrats on 100 episodes. Long-time lurker. I’ve been enjoying WLTV since the decanting episode. They’ve all been educational and entertaining. Thanks.
