Ok episode, thank god the Ramey showed well, otherwise we might not have seen episode 106. Have had the Trintaudon and i must agree, it’s bollocks!

Thank god for David Ramey. WLTV might have ended right here at epi #105 with GV ending it all.
While in BC at Gotham, had a recommended by staff Ramey Claret which was phenomenal. Have never found it since. Not in stores, not online. Is it available? Was it a fever dream?

QOD: There are many vineyards and wine companies in China today: Great Wall, Dynasty (a joint venture with Remy Martin), Changyu, Grace Vineyard, & Huadong, just to name a few. I believe Dynasty has won 14 gold medals in international wine tastings, for what it’s worth.

The Chinese prefer red wine over white, thus cabernet sauvignon is the favorite varietal here, taking up most of the shelf space at the local supermarkets.

Speaking from personal experience , the Chinese cabernets are not half bad, and the cost is a fraction of the Napa Valley prices, so if you’re looking for value, this is something to consider.

Gary, have you done an episode with a taste-off between China and India? I’m curious to see the results.
