Congrats Stallion, TampaSteve & MichaelP. Very generous Gary! I thought I had won the wine rack with my question. Maybe next time.

QOTD: I’m not a Yankee fan, but when Donny “Baseball” Mattingly retired it didn’t bother me so much at the time, but more so after the Yankees started winning all their World Series. I think he’s one player that really deserved one. Maybe he’ll get his ring as a coach.

QOD- Phil Simms retired because of a salary cap- Had a great year and was forced out by the Giants to give that BIG PIECE OF CRAP DAVE BROWN the Q-Back job- I hate that to this day it makes me sick. Al because of the salary cap!

Off the top of my head, when Jeff Bagwell retired. Can’t imagine the Houston Astros without him. Man, it’s going to be rough when both he and Biggio aren’t playing.

Gary V, you’ve still never reconciled your statements about vintages. In an earlier episode, you said they weren’t nearly as important and now you’re saying they’re incredibly important (again)… Eh?

Where’s Curtis Martin? Is he going to be the next guest? He’s not too busy right now.

He gets my HOF vote – if I had one.
