Okay, Gary, I made the mistake of commenting before I watched the episode 125 intro. That was one hell of an editing job, and I couldn’t go without commenting on it. I’m going to send a link to this to my wine-loving friends.

Great Job! Only one thing I missed, he never mentioned The Thunder! Thanks for putting all the time and work into this so we can all enjoy it. Heaven knows I don’t have the patience for these kinds of projects. Keep it up.

Starting this reply wearing a smile, I wanted to congratulate your program with acquiring three new fans; Myself, my Mother, and my wine tasting friend Emily. Rich in creativity and energy, watching your shows make time speed by. I consider myself new to the wine world, even though I work with about 80 wines at my restaurant, and have been enjoying wine for over 4 years, I am lost when comparing wines to food, identifying scents, flavors, and the overall terminality. I guess this is were I should lick rocks and so forth right…
My first wine of choice, when getting starting, was Cab Sav (big fan of Santa Rita, Chile). Lately I have been trying two bottles per week, always different. The Trapiche Broquel Malbac 2006, Argentina, to me, was a hit. It convinced me to break my habit of always buying Cab Sav.
One wine that took me for a ride, that I don’t have anything but the cork to identify, was a Bordeaux, Superieur 2003. Any ideas? Also, what comments might you have about the wines that I mentioned?
    Thanks Gar-y

[...] Gary has been changing the wine world as host of WLTV has built a rabid following of wine fans (“Vayniacs”, they’re called — myself included) with his energetic take on making wine fun — this is precisely the same mantra we had building Cork’d. But Gary also really knows wine — something Dan B. nor I can really claim. The recycling guy in my neighborhood knows how much I love wine (and regularly) — but that doesn’t mean I know wine. You know? To get an idea of the show, be sure to check out this video summary. [...]
