One of the first and last things I watch during the workweek is WLTV. It’s a breath of fresh air (or sip of ridonculously colored juice) in an oitherwise hectic environment. Thanks! BTW, G, I have my Bears undefeated scruff going on for some time now… in comparison, your face looks like a baby’s ass ;-)

QOTD: I watch in the evening from the WL web site. What is an RSS feed?

Rainbow Bright, huh? When will we get a Mon Chee Chee reference??

    Gary,

I have no doubt that our dear friend Paris is an expert in Champagne vintages ;=) You should invite her to the show. Really.

    QOTD:
On the computer before going to sleep.

QOTD: On the web site, usually before dinner. Although this one (being posted late and a long episode) watched the first half before dinner, and the second half with my coffee at breakfast.

As a fellow J-E-T-S fan, hopefully you’ll look like Billy Gibbons and Dusty Hill (if you don’t know it — look it up!) in late January!

I agree with your notes on Veuve Clicquot-I had it couple of days ago.
My notes – not much of anything.

Gary, you rock! I was hoping for another Champagne episode. I watched the other sparkling episodes the day before yesterday and got myself a very nice cava & champagne yesterday (in my new rocking cool champagne glasses) :)

Anyway… what about champagne color? Can you tell something about a champagne by watching the bubbles? The legs on the glass? etc… you ‘just’ taste them, au contraire you do all the above things on reds/whites.

    Champagne baby!

Prestige cuvees: Salon, Vilmart, Gratien, Jean Milan, the finest Cattier, Pierre Peters, Bonnaire, J. Selosse, Pol Roger (cuvee Sir Winston Churchill), Comte Audoin De Dampierre, Ruinart, the list is so obscenley long its funny. Four thousand Champagne producers and what do we get: Tattinger, Pommery, Henriot, Roederer, Veuve Cliquoit, Moet, their low end swill. Such pretty bottles. Time for importers to step up their game. If winexpo.com can do it (personal relation) , if hi-timewines can do it (same) , if dandm.com can do it (ditto), then so can winelibrary. Praise for the Spanish Cavas. Spot on. Curse the Sophia: ( Coppola will not let his daughter fail even if it requires low-tech string and tape, as long bare minimum of pleasure, like her, is assured.) Gary, with all due respect, let the Vaynernation know of Champagne beyond winelibrary’s scope. Your enthusiasm has been duly noted. Your fine palate, envied. What is missing is a stirring tale of the riches to be found far beyond where your store has gone. What’s more important, Champagne or local markets?

This episode really cracked me up. Maybe it had something to do with sparkly I opened up before watching.

And RSS feeds all day baby. Because that’s how we roll in NC.

LITSER…come on to the Forum and play with us!! We could use some International Flavor. Your English is fine.

BTW, I mentioned this in my earlier comment(#48), but it’s now 1:11am, and I’ve just finished entering this episode into my SS which will be C & P’d into the web SS.

Gary, GREAT, GREAT episode….I WILL be trying the 2 vintage sparklers!! thanks!!

Boy, do I even have enough time to grow some stubble? Oh, and good to finally understand what Jason Kidd and ‘where the US Champagne market will be in 10 years’ have in common!

Gary, thanks for doing this episode. I have wanted to try more champagne since you recommended the Drappier Signature, and I concurred that it was very good. I am looking forward to trying a few more and will place an order as soon as I hear back from you on my private e-mail to you.

As to the QOD, I usually like to download the episodes to I-Tunes. This way I can watch them at my leisure, and even take them with me. Unfortunately, for some reason episode 147 and now, episode 151 never downloaded to I-Tunes. My other podcasts downloaded both days, so it seems to be limited to WLTV podcasts only. Perhaps one of your IT people can look into this?

Sometimes, to make time on the toilet more enjoyable and educational, I bring the wireless laptop into the bathroom with me and watch WLTV. It’s a very nice ritual.

    Hey guys.

I’m notified of new episodes via my RSS reader, and then watch on the site itself. Right now I’m sipping some 2004 Elderton Shiraz, and munching on a tuna sandwich. AWESOME COMBO!

I usually watch them at night on my wireless laptop. Sometimes, I read the comments first (like I just did) to see what up. This is the worst part of doing the SS…I can’t just really watch the episode, I need to transcribe…..and 9 wines….this will take an hour. Your killing me Gary.

Just kidding (not about the hour)….I happily do this….love WLTV and VaynerNATION….ROCK ON, GaryV!!!!!

QOTD-I watch WLTV on my Mac laptop – after dinner – while sipping a glass of red wine (tonight it’s a pinot noir, but often a shiraz or cab or zin) via my wireless cable modem. Usually my wife is next to me wondering why I am such a Vayniac, watching all these episodes about wine!
Thanks for doing all this Gary. You are hugely popular in this household, and the word is getting out…

QOTD – I watch at work (at lunchtime of course..haha) or from home like I am doing now (sitting on my couch…I just hooked up a wireless router, much more comfortable than sitting in my home office).
