Couldn’t watch the show until tonight. GREAT little video of the Vayniac dinner. Great education from this episode; I enjoyed it to the fullest, as usual. We did watch the game. In my opinion, kind of dull the first half, but a most exciting ending. QOD: 1) Pol Clément Brut, blanc de blancs, n/v. 2) Kendall-Jackson Grand Reserve, Cabernet Sauvignon, 1999. 3) Grahams Six Grapes, Port, n/v. Gary, THANKS! (for all).

QOD: For Christmas Eve, my wife and I drank a bottle of the 1997 Massolino Parafada Barolo with the Veal Marsala and fettuccine that I made. On Christmas Day, we had several bottles of 1999 Chateau Pomies-Agassac and a 1990 Far Niente Cabernet Sauvignon with the prime rib roast.

Another excellent episode, Gary. You found a wine that I have never tried before. That will change soon. Thanks!

    Cheers!

Yo! Sittin’ here catching up on the episodes I missed while away… I had an ‘84 Trefethen Cab this weekend. Holly crap……. I brought it to my parents thinking my father would like to give it a try (he loves California Cab). He hated it. I on the other hand thought it was the bomb digity fo shizle. It was drinking like it was 10 years old, and I liked it.. ALOT… Probably putting the rest away for at least 5 more years. Yeah boy…. CB

I actually had no wine this weekend, was to busy keeping tabs on my little girl and all her cousins so the wife could get some much needed sleep. Great episode Gary, I was super stoked for the jets win on Monday. Overall this weekend was a nice one though…enjoy your new years everybody!
