Classic, I laughed my ass off the entire time….And when you went to spit the wine out and the guy behind you lifted up the sign I screamed in laughter……

    CLASSIC.

This could be the best episode yet….When things clear up you should do an episode on the roof!

You are ballsy and creative. Passionate and smart. Honest and friendly. And you make us all Vayniacs enjoy life more with your crazy episodes. Man, I wish people I work with were as fun and passionate as you. I have learnt so much from you, my man. You are a great teacher and an awesome friend. Thanks so much! Because you, and a lot of you are influencing and shaping the wine world, aren’t you?

QOTD: February 16, 2003. NYC. The biggest snowstorm in NY in 20 years.

    YOU FREAKIN’ ROCK!!!!!

Gary, you are NUTS! I loved the episode. Very cool (no pun intended). I loved when the glass and then even the bottles were being blown across the table. Great wines, too!

    QOD:
    Favorite Blizzard:
    1978.
It snowed in Indiana for DAYS and then it drifted…….
    Wow!
We have pics of the drifts that were higher that 16 feet!
Only time I have been snowed in for over 7 days.
    I personally prefer Jamaica!

Awesome! Makes me wish I lived where it snows again. I’ll keep a look out for purple snow if I ever get back (unless Prince has been around.)

QOTD: Last day of a winter camp in high school we got snowed in and couldn’t leave! We missed a day of school but got to keep having fun!

Oh, QOTD: My favorite snow day was the only snow day I had in college. It was 2000, my freshman year at RIT, and the wind chill was something like -30F, not to mention snow drifts above 3rd floor windows.

That was the only day during my 4 years at RIT that we had a snow day. And it was glorious.

Gary- You are the greatest and crazy too!

QOD- New Year’s Day 1999 saw 30+ inches of snow in Chicago while I was in L.A. for the Rose Bowl game. I was stranded in L.A. for two extra days where it was 70-75 degrees. It took awhile for my wife to let me off the hook for that bit of Karma. Plus, my team, the Wisconsin Badgers pounded the heavily favored UCLA after sports anchor Craig James called the Badgers the “worst team ever” to play in the Rose Bowl. Great memories.

Gary! Hope you are doing fine after all this coldness!
Great episode, but take care! If your mom sees that, she won’t let you play again…
    Regards from summerland

QOD – Mount Charleston, near Las Vegas, it’s a great place to see a lot of snow. Have you been there?

Gary, there is something SERIOUSLY wrong with you and I love it. QOTD- I just moved up here from Texas so I’ve never experienced a snow day before but I’ve had many a great flood day. This weather is insane!

This is one of the classics. Some great wine saves there! I feel sorry for the board holder in the background- dodging spit and freezing his ass off! QOD: I’m watching this from warm, sunny Los Angeles, the only Snow Day I’m familiar with is the bad movie.

    SpaceJay

    WOW

QOTD-We don’t have snow days in South Louisiana, so this episode is my favorite snow day. I was waiting for the “tuck rule”.

    Wow! I feel for you.
We’re having a snow day down here in Albuquerque as well.

Damn gary, That was above and beyond the call. Forget about what the weather does to the wine, protect those fingers man. What was the temp with the windchill? Your crazy, man. Enjoy London, we’ll miss you.

Outstanding! The glass and bottles levitating across the table added a nice touch. Watch out where them winetasters go and don’t you eat that purple snow.

Gary, you are one crazy man! Congrats on one of the classic WLTV episodes ever. Interesting, I just got an e-mail from another wine store regarding the Casanova Neri Brunello Tenuta Nuova 2001.
