P.S. You should tell Nick Teves on tomorrow’s episode to check out where I mention him in the SS….I think he’d like being mentioned again (& also that I went to HS w/ his Dad)

Fantastico! Incroyable! The chapters! The verses! No buffering!

Gents – Gary, Colin et al., you’ve just taken a quantum leap forward.

Today, it felt like a DVD and TiVo rolled into one.

    Thanks for all of it.

In December, I made a joke about Lancers Rose. It won me a free Vayniac T-Shirt.

So tomorrow — ya gotta taste it!

QOTD: How long should you let wines sit after buying them? Can you take home from the wine store and decant for a few hours and they’re fine?
Do you have decanting recommendations based on varietal? do white wines and roses need decanting at all?

Greetings from South Carolina. Great show today — Idaho is now on my map, thanks to you.

Also, though I couldn’t find any in the Library, there are some great young vintners on the Saar south of Trier (still stuck under the Mosel-Saar-Ruwer designation) doing some amazing things with Chardonnay these days. Very light, crisp, not at all oaky Chardonnays that have more in common with a Pinot Gris than most of the Chardonnay I’ve tasted coming out of California. I hope you give them a chance soon. One name that comes to mind where I did some tasting: Agritiushof in the town of Oberemmel.

new format is working great. no hiccups today at all. Loved the option where you can immediately FF to the different wines or the QOTD.

I liked the Anything but CA chardonnay from USA theme. It was almost as interesting as a Finger Lakes riesling episode.

As bad as the NJ wine may have been, it’s still better than the alcoholic grape juice that’s made in the Sunshine State.

NJ terroir??? hahaha! Does that wine come from Exit 15 of the Turnpike? mmmm yum.

Gary, I don’t want you to officially “review” this wine. I just want to laugh if you can’t pick it out blind.
