    Since QOTD is past, I will report we drank a 2002 Les Caves de Colombe Mersault Last night with roasted chicken on the grill..was very nice!!!

    tonite, (last night really) I’m drinking 2003 Ch. Aurilhac, Haut Medoc. Big fruit, drinking well, but tannins are still strong. the last 4 bottles will stay put for a few more years. bought for $11 on futures.

    Gary, Great Episode ! Amazed on your magical powers of
    “prediction” on da 1st wine. :) Agree with your insight
    about Fronsac. Had a lot of yummy $10 Fronsacs back in
    da 80s.

    QOTD: Still got plenty of “old-timers” (like me) left.
    Will be sluggin down a 97 Dehlinger Pinot Noir, or a
    99 Rochioli Pinot Noir, or maybe a 95 Ravenswood Dickerson
    Vyd Zin. Hope they got some “uuumphh” left.
