Almost a year late, but just watched the episode. Don’t know what I’m drinking tonight yet. Having a friend over that I deployed to Indonesia with for six months tonight. I’m making rack of lamb and he is bringing the wine. Looking forward to it.

Just tried the 2000 Chat La Vieille Cure Fronsac along with a 2003 ChÃ¢teauneuf du Pape Clos du Mont Olivet “Cuvee des Papet” last night. Both were a little fruity with soft tannins and low acidity. The Chateauneuf of course had a more layered herbal nose, but for almost half the price, the Vieille Cure was pretty good!
