    Gary-
    Another fabulous ep!
    I have always been

Gary, Gary, Gary. I accept that you are foremost authority on wine….but when it comes to ball, your love of Patrick Ewing and belief that you could even score one point against me is making you look delusional and sad.
I am telling you….we need to set the game up. You need to come up to Canada, I’ll show you a good time in Niagara (drink some Icewine, check out winespectator.com Steven Page column) and I will woop your ASS! Then, we’ll drink a ‘77 Fonseca to sooth your ego! I am dying for a game!
I emailed to get a wristband so I hope you ship to Canada. If not, let me know know and I’ll get you an address of a distant relative or something but I need one cause it’s gonna be in the photo of me drilling the threes on your head and showing you my lovely jump hook! Feel that Hizszy!

    Oh snap — the wristbands!

LOVED the color coordination of the green shirt, the wristbands, the cute little flower on the white board. It’s springtime! And springtime is good. Speaking of springtime and flowers, the whole set had a tinge of green today — even the wall in the background.

And props on the minimalism of the set over the past months — there is episode a while ago in which the basketball players were standing on your head.

QOTD: the jasmine rice at a beachside restaurant in bali.

Are you really able to score 35 points? Send me two of those Vayniac wrist bands and I’ll take you on!

    Excellent, as usual.
    QOTD: My mother’s raspberry tarts.
Casper- watched the cartoon as a young lass, and my father frequently read me Casper the Friendly Ghost before bed time.
Scratch & sniff- all over my notebooks. C’mon.

Maybe goosenberries are named after the South African professional golfer (Retief Goosen). Have to try that cab – sounds like a winner for the money.

QOTD – the organic chem lab stockroom. (After all, flavors are just collections of volatile organics.)

    Badger Ann

QOTD: Sweet Tarts (ok, everybody knows what they are).

Great show Gary! Never had a kosher wine before. I probably still won’t run out to find one, but if I come across one, I promise I won’t rule it out because it is kosher. Thanks for the wristband!

QOTD – My elementary school library. Quite a unique nose, I must say.

Also, TimF, are you a Boilermaker?? Because they do a breakfast club in West Lafayette.

Gary interesting Kosher episode. Having a little trouble with the wristband link I’ll try later.Mello Smello was the brand name that hooked up the scratch and sniff and the wild cherry clown(orange afro giant cherry colored nose mmmm). Or the bag of peanuts. But as you mentioned and my personal favorite was the skunk,or possibly the band aid.QOTD On a 04 Francis Coppala Claret the nose pizza dough.

    Russ J

QOTD: smells like that plastic mini tookit case in the basement(probably very similar to Brian Chen’s throw-up)

  17. March 28, 2007

    Jim Walker

QOTD: My unique tasting note which NO expert wine taster ever uses: grapes.
That’s right, grapes. Take a bunch of grapes and ferment them and you’ll find yourselves AMAZED at how much it tastes like wine.

QOD: Breakfast Club — Where I went to college the bars would open at 7AM on Saturdays when there was a football game. The bar was usually a mess from the night before. Think cigarette smoke, stale beer, vomit, urine, screwdrivers and bloody mary’s. Put all that in a blender and you’ve got Breakfast Club.

Casper the Friendly Ghost was great. I never could understand why people were always so afraid of a FRIENDLY ghost. I used to watch it on CH 56 in MA. In CT we got stations from MA, CT, NY, and NJ — it was great!
