QOTD - Funny enough that you mentioned "personal notes". Recently I had a glass of Jacob's Creek 2005 Res Cab (the bottle had been left opened for a little too long...) and it had a distinct flavor of my abuela's con gris (black beans and rice)!

Do you have any more of those wrist bands? I want one, lol

qotd: freshly gutted salmon. It smells EXACTLY like cucumbers. You'd mistake it for cuccumber in a blind sniff test.

The starter red I use to ween people off the white zin is J. Lohr's wildflower valdiguie. Pretty much one of the lightest fruitiest low tannin reds I've ever seen, and its served slightly chilled. At $9 its a value too.

Hey Gary, how about doing a vin jaune episode?

204 episodes in and i'm officially no longer a lurker! Originally stumbled across WLTV while looking for some information on Majella Sparkling Shiraz and found Gary's video to be really engaging.

QOTD: I tried the Tolloy 06/07 (Alto Adige) Pinot Grigio at a wedding, it tasted so much of nutmeg but I couldn't find anyone that agreed! Maybe it's a flavour that is hard to recall, i mean the flavour was just unmistakeable to me.
