Gary you should do an episode about bad wines!! I can give you a few names. Little Penguin White Shiraz (tastes like over fermented grape fanta and a really bad vodka cramberry!); Jepson Chardonnay from CA (tastes like day old popcorn, green ale, beer, brandy and apple cider together, truly awful and it smells like rancid butter!) Yuck!

QOTD: what did I do that weekend? Went on a weekend stay with my fanfare band (rehearsal weekend) and played two concerts on Sunday. Not really a fanfare/brassband lke you might know. It’s something typical of Netherlands and Flanders, resembles a British Brass Band, but were twice as large and have different instruments (only brass and saxophones). Were not marching, but more of an orchestra. Just have look at our site: http://www.kfwerkmanszonen.be/ .

QOTD: long time watcher, first post with a late answer: I go skiing on the weekends, I’m swiss and live near the snow capped alps, great sport, good to be outdoors, and the snow conditions this spring are way better than at the beginning of the winter. one more week of snow skiing and the winter season ends.
thank you for all your shows and episodes. fun to watch and very educating. not only in wine knowledge, but also you are a great english professors for us foreigners to learn an even better english.
i like a lot of your episodes. i want to mention one: the german rieslings. what i liked so much is the low alcohol content. less than 10%! low alcoholic wines is the future(or is it: low alcoholic wines are the future?) the germans should promote it a lot more, especially among the women.

Great show. Just saw it. What if the wine starts out smelling bad but tastes ok? And you are right..there are thousands of shows left to do so get busy!!! This weekend I spent delivering the paintings I sold last weekend. I sold out the show…38 originals in all. The proceeds go towards my parents memorial fund which provides scholarships to kids at my old parish school. Poor neighborhood but a good Catholic school. I paint to relax from doing surgery during the day. Keep up the great work.
