SHOPPER’S DISCOUNT LIQUOR. I know I’m not the 1st to mention it, but I was busy “saving lives” at the hospital. Nice episode Gary. Take care.

Kahuna, re: the Rockpile Vineyard – I don’t know the answer, but there are a lot of other situations like this, take the Gary’s, Rosella’s, Pisoni pinot noir vineyards, for example. There are a bunch of producers making wines from their grapes. Morisoli, Monte Rosso are some other examples.

    Gary,
Nice episode. Zin is a fun wine, and you looked like you had fun.
QOTD: I am looking for the best way to manage my inventory. Cellartracker is popular. Ben N, where do you get wine cellar for mac, I am a mac guy too. Also, is cellar tracker a website or a program? And, does it do Mac (the superior OS).

Excel, thinking about putting into Access then on the web. Cellar Tracker looks neat, but I think there can be a lot of enhancements to it, some were recently talked about in the forum, and still other ideas out there, especially for a brick and mortar store with a large client base / following.

QOTD: Online Google spreadsheet, but need to consider CT because things are getting out of hand trying to track everything this way. That and I’m not quite nerdy enough for our casual wine drinking friends…

Believe it or not I use the noggin…technology scares the hell out of me but I admit it makes many chores easier. Because I visit the racks daily for selections and most bottles have tags it’s fairly easy for me to remember what is available. Average inventory about 500 bottles…and yes I do envy those who use Cellar Tracker…
