Big G.- THANK you for a great Ep., and I will DEFFINITELY be grabbing a wine from Languedoc-Roussillon on my next trip to the ol’ wine shop.
Also- the hair looks ok, but there is a reason why they make those plastic electric outlet plugs- to keep kids from huting themselves, or to keep bored adults from inadvertently giving themselves a new hairdoo. Stay away from the outlets, Big G.- I worry for your health.

QOTD #1: I’m a TV/Video production major and I GUARANTEE that I could win the contest with the help of my room mate (the best editor I know) if we weren’t trying to finish our final work this semester to graduate…so my answer is: after graduation, if there is any other contest, I vow to win.

QOTD #2: Suddenly the lyrics “Butterfly in the sky, I can fly twice as high…” -that’s right- the theme song to READING RAINBOW came to my mind- Lavar Burton and all! (host of RR, aka Lt. Commander La Forge in Star Trek). “…Take a look, it’s in a book, Reading Rainbow.” …Wierd, I know- but THAT was one of MY favorite childhood TV shows…along with “David the Gnome.”

Rainbow Bright was also a popular hallucinogenic back in the day. Window pane had nothing on…oh, wait… there’s a Shetland pony in my wine cellar. Not again! Gotta go.

Ho-ly-Crud! Are we talking about wine here, or crack cocaine? Gary, you look hung over. Were you drunk when you did that to your hair? Too much wine last night and forgot to shave?

Well, whatever happened to you, kudos for going on tape just like that. I mean, let’s get real — with all the wine that you and the Vayniaks drink, there are probably quite a few that look just like you do today. And they deserve a little recognition for that — it’s a beautiful thing. Let’s not forget we’re obsessing on alcohol here.

It’s so much fun to watch people tweak out on the Internet!

QOTD: As soon as you fix that Robert Smith Cure hairdo of yours and shave your neck! This is national television!
    Rainbow Bright: Cheap-ass wanna-be Strawberry Shortcake rip-off.

    Gary-

Watched an old episode and someone commented about the Zachy’s “WineTaste TV”. It sucks! Those guys are so boring, and they make me appreciate WLTV so much. I watched one episode and will never watch again! Those guys are terrible…wearing suits and all…I love your youthfulness and your quirkiness. You rock!

    GottaGoDrink

QOTD- We all know BV#53 is right, but rainbow bright also refers to someone who gets smarter when it rains. Like “street smart” but wetter-er-er.

Gary- the 2nd wine I ever bought from WL was a Languedoc, Ch. Roumanieres 2001- good stuff!

    Thanks for the episode,

What the sign in the background should have read was… “Sad day for the Jets – 9/16 when the Ravens win by three touchdowns (maybe more).” See you in Baltimore, Gary. Just curious, what are we wadgering on the game? I say if the Ravens win, I get to be your guest on WLTV. If you win… wait, that’s impossible.

Was it the hair or the wine? Did the french do something to Gary when he went to Bordeaux? The stat: 700 French acres outproducing 560,000 USA acres in 2001? Is anybody paying attention here? or are we just going to believe GV sine dubium. No wonder camera rolled his eyes. Loved this show but Gary, brother, you’re busted!

    One square mile equals
    258.9988 hectares
    2.59 square kilometers
    640 acres
    .75512 square nautical mile

Of course you meant 700,000 acres, hectares whatever. Thanks for the show!!!

QOTD: “Rainbow Bright.” The christmas lights in my grandmother’s basement from the 1950’s.

Gary, my wife was getting all Randy over your hair….what the hell was that all about? Does Lizy know that you go on TV all over the world like that?
QOTD#1 – I’m not eligible, only the continental US. What do you have against traveling to Canada?
    QOTD#2 – smelly dolls

Q#1 I’m still thinkin about it.
Q#2 What the hell…All I can think of is Lite Brite.

Gary, are you stuck on Kansas now. I heard the fiddle solo from Dust in the Wind twice during the episode. I approve…(I’m a violin maker)

Local wine shop has a lot of wines form this area and have usually passed them up. I’ll start checking them out.

Gary…Another Great Episode…These wines are definitely going on my “Wine List” for this weekend!!!

QOTD #1 – I don’t have a Video Camera, Cell phone Camera or Digital picture Camera – Sorry, maybe after Christmas…

QOTD #2 – “Word association; Rainbow Bright” – Isn’t that a Gay Pride bumper sticker? Gary, do you need to tell us something???

    +CHEF

QOTD1: Although laziness and lack of materials are factors in my decision not to participate in the contest, it’s really the terrifying thought of cooking a nice dinner for ten people in my tiny one-bedroom apartment. Dining room? What?

QOTD2: The lovely combo of purple and orange, and mystery-fruit flavored lip glosses for little kids.

gary thanks for The Languedocian episode. I am a huge fan, and just when they were starting
to get popular a few years ago, the double whammy of Cheap Spanish and Aussie wines and the low dollar kind of
killed the momentum. They are some of the best “real” wines you can get in the price range. And remember that that 20 dollar wine would only be 14 dollars if the Euro had not gone up so much,, alas.

Great episode Gary…are you trying to rival Sanjaya on American Idol with that hair?

QOTD #2 – She was on one of my favorite shirts growing up!

Yoda says: “Still tasting it am I.”

    High-5 for the wallet.

QOTD: “Rainbow Bright” … “My Little Pony drowning in 2-Buck Chuck”

    Autumnfox

Nice show Gary….wacky with wacky hair!
QOTD#1: I teach all 7 days…would you still call my ass a lazy one?
QOTD#2: I just got an image(no words) of Rainbow Brite-the girl in a short dress with sneakers and rainbow leg warmers(makes it look like moon boots). It was a cartoon, right? And one of her friends was a white fluffy hairball…from the 80s! I remember, I remember….a loaf of bread, quart of milk, and a stick of butter…I remember!

THIS is why WLTV is where it’s at! South Park-WLTV parody, Woman wanting us to vote for her to take her shirt off (even though there was a ring on that finger), Rainbow Brite, Straightforward opinion about good AND bad stuff. Can we really ask for more? Well, yeah. We can. But we’ve got to like this.

QTOD Part Duex: ‘Tiny, damn pegs!’ as said by my father. Thanks for the trip to the 80s.

PS – Don’t drink the water in a snow globe. That’s a dumb idea. That can’t be good for your health.
