QOTD: I guess “Old School” is relative, but as a 30-something my fav old-school is 90s grunge rock – Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, even some old Pearl Jam.

And going back a little more…Beastie Boys – License to Ill! “Now here’s a little story I got to tell…”

Had a split of the 1990 Suduiraut last weekend……… got some from Haskells but you are killing their price!! = ) Wonderful to show my wife what ALL those sauternes I’ve been buying her, will turn out to be some day. Needless to say “I’m a freaking genius” and she loves me even more!!

Great episode today. I am so old school!

QOTD: You can’t get more old school than Tom Glavine. No 100 mph fastball, just guile, smarts and execution of the fundamentals. Great fielder, most bunts in baseball history. Future 300 game winner and HOFer. I have total respect for the guy, even if he gets in as a Brave.

GREAT episode. I was laughing so hard about your red radish pill popping habit.

QOTD: wearing shorts, loafers and no socks in the summer. this outfit may be fine for anyone over the ago of 50, but it really stands out on a 24 year old.

    QOTD: A good cigar.

Jamocha Almond Fudge isn’t half bad either.

Thanks for an Old World Episode as I realize that I really love this style of wine.

QOTD: CW said it really nicely (his comment was my first idea). I also miss the old style foot-long MD style – boiled then deepfried and covered with chili, onions and relish. Haven’t had one of those in years. I used to have one during lunch and then wander into Record Traders to flip thru the bin to find the latest British import. (Yeah it was the 80’s….sigh)

You should definitely add the word “clams” to your list of synonyms for cash. For example: “This bottle of booze will cost you around 35 clams depending on where you pick it up.” You say “bones” fairly often I’ve noticed and quite frankly your show is missing the word “clams”. Stay “fresh”, go pats.

QOTD: Spending some time with some 20 year olds and younger, I have to say I miss old school child rearing, parents my age have missed the point completely.
