Well, Kevin, what can you do. Wait…!

I would say you are one of the toughest critics when it comes to ratings. Even a wine you rave about only reaches the 94-95 wine. I’m wondering what are your 96+ wines and what are the greatest values in that range?

    Yes, I’m a ratings whore.

I give up. You can be last. Wait! I’m last again!

    Darn you KenP!

I will let you be last on one condition:

You must drink an entire jug of sutter home white zin in one hour without throwing up.

    The white zin challenge!

The Transylvanian hussy is fabulous–I say that in a flattering way. Good theatrics, good humor, good camera presence. Very entertaining. Well done.

My favorite Old School thing would have to be putting a record on the turntable and listening on a very good hi-fi system. Nothing sounds as good as needle on vynil on s ggod system

QOTD: gotta be Bob Cousy in the short shorts destroying kids from long range.

QOTD: the ice cream/pickle thing reminded me of peanut butter and pickle sandwiches on Wonder bread with a side of cheap generic Cheese Curls, maybe some Depeche Mode in the background, circa 1987.

The only thing better than coffee ice cream is a coffee or mocha milk shake. Awesome.

Favorite old school thing: The Old Course at St Andrews Scotland. 600 years old and going strong. Every round of golf played there is completely different than the one before, as if on totally different courses. Endlessly fascinating.

GARY! Great Ep., and I’m gonna go old school with a Loire Sauvignon tonight.
Also, I just got back from Ireland, and I’m all caught-up on the episodes I missed. The Guinness was great, but I missed wine! They aren’t very particular about their wine there, and I saw a rediculous amount of Hardy’s imported there! Good to be back and you’re getting my wristband pic soon!!

QOTD: Other than my big wheel (loved the big wheel), and my sweet blue and white striped Osh Kosh shorts, I’ve gotta mention my Marvel Comics and Marvel trading cards collection, Wolverine being the most prized of the bunch. I don’t really miss the blue and yellow striped tube sox, though.

Muchas gracias Señor Vaynerchuk. Very nice selection; thanks for tasting such expensive wines for us. I’m not much of an “old world” style wine fan, but any serious wine connoseaur or taster comes across old world more often than not, so you have to know how to interpret and appreciate them.

QOTD: MUSIC, man.. CLASSICAL MUSIC! Every now and then, to enjoy at the theater or at home, either a dvd or just the music of Mozart’s Serenade No. 13 (Eine Kleine Nachtmusik (Nocturne Serenade)), or Brahms’ or Beethoven’s Violin Concerto, or one of Beethoven’s Symphonys. Pair that up with a glass of nice Port or any red wine. Pretty classic and old world, and pleasant. Haydn’s Quartets; I love chamber music too.

So glad my dad got me into that!

Gary – Great episode. I love OW wines! Now, how about another OW ep, but this time on the wonderful wines of Rhone?

QOTD – definitely bell bottoms, quiana shirts, and blowdrying my long hair…which I don’t have anymore so I buzz it to a crew cut.

What is your favorite coffee ice cream? Mine would have to be Starbucks java chip!

QOTD: Love my Old School Nintendo! SMB, Bubble Bobble, Excite Bike, RC Pro Am, Dig Dug, and the list goes on. I break it out about 4x per year.

Great show! The wine descriptions were awesome, makes you want to go out and grab a bottle, but the price is to much for my pocket book.

QOTD: No Traffic, and lisening to 60 & 70’s music.

The Belarussian sensation was firing on all cylinders today! Between the ‘former soviet union on your ass’ and old world ‘kumbaya’ comment- yeehaw!
No worries about Mossy man on New England, he’s an apathetic infestation of an athlete that will permeate his bacterial infection throughout the squad, rendering them useless. What a waste of space, and a STUPID move for a discipline team to pick up an aloof loser (in his twilight, I might add).
