If I hadn’t smelled burnt tires myself on white wines, I wouldn’t have believed your flavor profile! I haven’t tried Rioja in a long, long time. Might be another of my “sub-$20″ possibilities to start trying.

And I gotta say that we are looking forward to the SF event as well, it should be a crazy time!

QOD: I’m interested in tasting anything different and unique. Since watching WLTV, I’ve gone back to trying white wines again after a 15 year hiatus. I’m thinking more rose, dude! White merlot? White Pinot Noir? White Cabernet?? Bring it!
