QOTD: The 1999 Royal Tokaji Essencia. Good luck getting a bottle of that. Im trying to secure one myself. A lot of hope is going on on my part. Nice episode, but Im still lost on reds. Hopefully the wine book I bought ( The Wine Bible ) will help me grow.

Gary..here’s to going back and reviewing old episodes. What wine would I like to taste. Any of the Sine Qua Non Pinot Noirs…I’ve been extreemely lucky to experience many wines as a wine director and find myself to be the sort of person who feels that wines (like knowedge) are meant to be shared. So if you find yourself feeling in the sharing spirit below is the link to a 1998 Oregon Pinot that I would love to try as a fan of Oregon Pinots…Thanks for the great shows and hard work you put in for all of us.

I know this is already been a few weeks out…I am in Spain right now and had never had a Rioja. Now it is definitely one of my favorites! Going back and being able to see this episode was great.

GREAT episode. Always love to see what the whirl is on Rioja, and this EP was fun to watch from start to finish. QOTD: One of my life dreams is to someday taste at least one of the Guigal La La’s from a great or classic finish. I know you won’t open the 1985 100-pointer, but 2002 will do in a pinch. Even the descriptions from WS and WA make my mouth water for the La Landonne (Library Code: 5970):

Yeah yeah I know that this comment is coming weeks after the episode, but I never commented on this episode and I think itâ€™s GREAT! Spanish wines are among my current favorites, they have really helped me out of my Cab rut, and the Riojas are wines I usually canâ€™t afford so to have you taste some at different price points is valuable to me, and likely many others. THANKS Gary!
