Great to see you review the Cambiata Tannat from Monterey….I read most of these reviews and did not read one that has tasted this wine…. Well I have.. Tasted last year, August of 09, actually it was the 2006…….Ironic how you first started saying Tannat usually needs 10-20 years to open up…….Not this wine!!! I loved it and reacted like you….Big, chewy, tannic (but not bitter), Thunder in your mouth….. BTW… never saw you taste a wine four times before you go to the next……And your reaction after tasting and before commenting was priceless!! I know exactly what you were tasting…….Thought it was the best wine at the festival and was shocked, since no one else had a Tannnat wine and I had never had one before…… Can you get this anywhere here on the East Coast? I don't care what vintage, and I assume the 06 I had is the current vintage and it was fantastic…….. Hope you get to review or at least taste it….

qotd was gonna go w 1 of the shirts, but most seem outta stock

Gary, my fav episodes are always the ones when you have the lesser known wines & varietals on like this 1. Another wine you don’t hear a lot about is vin jaune. How about putting 1 of those on?
