Damn, a zweigelt, a kadarka, a charbono, & a valdiguie all in the same episode! I've had all 4. Only had kadarka in Bull's Blood though.
I recommend J. Lohr for your valdiguie needs, & Robert Foley & Summer's for those seeking out a charbono.
I figured after asking for you to try a vin jaune on the show on nearly 300 of your episodes, I'd give up since you haven't even given me a reply. But you made it impossible not to ask for a Vin Jaune on this episode. Who knows, maybe 1 day…

Looks like the wine from Washington was the winner of thise episode. Thats another one in the bank for us…. OH YEAH! The other three kind of turned me off, esp. the last one. Im like 3 miles from St Michelle, so I can just drive by anytime I like and score some bottles.. woot! QOTD: More bizzare pop culture/wrestling references. AS MANY AS POSSIBLE. And on a realistic note, more wines from Germany and Austria. Other than that, the show kicks everything everywhere.

I’m finishing up my first bottle of Zweigelt… it is a Hugl Weine Zweigelt ’06 and my fiance and I loved it with pizza. Gary this was the first time I was browsing through a local wine shop and recoignized one of your out of the ordinary suggestions and I’m happy I did.

I agree with the Beaujolais Nouveau comparison and generally found it to be very bright strawberry fruit centered. Great pick, I’ll enjoy passing it along to friends.
