So, One theory I’ve heard is that heat exposure will cause the wine to go over the hill quicker. It might be alright when you open the bottle, but come a few months later it might be all gone…

Your show just confirmed a sneaking suspicion I’ve had around “cooked” wines. My husband and I brought a bottle to an event at the beach that sat in a hot car and it turned out to be one of the best I’d ever tasted. Maybe it was the cold wind or the ocean but it was rich, warm and perfect. What was it? That’s hard to say as it was five years ago. Maybe ten years… Something red costing about $15. Thanks for the interesting experiment.

I love my new Oak Monster T and have been enjoying the winecast for quite a bit. I’m officially a Vayniac. We still have to call in our order (we don’t mind) to get the AWESOME deal on the stuff (thank you) because you can’t add TN during online order process.

Just came back from a wonderful trip to Oregon, so we’ve been drinking wines from there. Our memories make them taste just a little bit better.

Great show! I have always been interested in how heat affects wine. It sounds like it is more of an issue if it is prolonged exposure. Canâ€™t wait to pick up some of that wine!
