I love Italian wine. It always just tastes so Italian.

QOTD: I’ve asked before and I will do it again.

92 Parker points for 12 bucks. I just gotta know if the thunder is there. Just hope the hype doesn’t cause it to sell out. Oh and maybe a late harvest Gewurztraminer.

Amarone did NOT bring the thunder tonight!…GREAT show, though.
QOTD: I’d love to see you tasting: Ch Musar 1998, Library Code: 29363 (I know you did before 1997, but this one is supposed to be different, as all Ch Musars are).
Or Saintsbury Pinot Noir Carneros 2005 (Library Code: 31931).
    Cheers…

QOTD: My favorite family of wines I’ll pick from:
    http://winelibrary.com/reviewwine.asp?item=32324

I just realized the comment above me picked the same thing, which means this has GOT to be a great choice, especially with your boy Josh Reynolds giving it 93. I’ve had 4 CDP’s in my lifetime, and two of them were the two best wines I’ve ever had, so this would be fun to see you taste since I’ve never tried it and have read good things about it.

Hi GV. It’s TG. I have had three vintages of Orin Swift The Prisoner and the first was pretty good, the second was too tight and awful. The latest vintage was outstanding but very young. I would like to know what you think of this Zinfandel blend.
    QOFTD-
I would like to see you taste Orwin Swift The Prisoner.

Nice show Gary. I don’t know much about Amarone. Looks like another varietal to add to my 365 taste-a-thon.

Hi Gary. Please taste the Forth Cabernet Sauvignon Trois Enfants 2002 . This is a fantastic small producer in Dry creek. I enjoyed the 2001 so much I contacted Jann and Gerry Forth and they envited my wife and I to stop in to their winery so we booked a trip from Ohio to Sonoma / Napa and meet this great couple. This wine comes from a small 10 acre vineyard in Dry Creek. They would be thrill if you tasted the wine. The 2002 is more approachable than the great 2001. I have 10 bottles of the 2001 left. Plan to take some years on this one.

OK, two suggestions for something upon which you can lay down the sniffy-sniff.

This: http://winelibrary.com/reviewwine.asp?item=30336 because I am wondering why Parker’s down on it …
or this: http://winelibrary.com/reviewwine.asp?item=6445 because ever since I had a ‘95 a few months back for which I paid a criminally low amount, I’ve been CBE hunting with disastrous results.
