QOTD: Hey Gary, just thought i'd call you out on checking new comments on old episodes, if so please try Leitz (Rudesheim-er) Riesling Trocken and/or De Martino (Maule Valley) Single Vineyard Malbec. You've got a few months before i'll have caught up to the current shows!

Gary, I just got back from Valpolicella (Carlo Boscaini) where they make excellent Amarone. You're right, the alchohol content is off the roof but I like it. The Tommasis, there's also Masi BTW, Alegrinis are very expensive Amarones. You can definitely get those in Valpolicella for 18 Euro from small unknown wineries and beats the living crap of the big timers. In the US, popularity brings money but in Italy quality is numbero uno.

Another 0-4 day? Ouch... at least you wernt totally down by the end of the episode. QOTD: A year too late, but I wouldnt mind you opening a bottle of Petrus. Id really like to see the tasting notes on such a rare and highly reguarded wine.

I need to make a serious suggestion on the order in which you taste the wines...at least for the Italian ones, please taste the youngest ones first, then work up to the older ones, or taste them in order of alcohol content, lowest to highest. Just a suggestion to give the wines a fair chance.
