    Gary, that was so great.
I was an internet-video-scavenger-hunt virgin until last night! You will always be remembered as my first…
If I smoked, I’d grab one right now. ;)

Loved all the many, many wesbite episodes. This show is honestly the best thing on the web I know about.

    LOVED IT!!!!!!

I even got to see you try a Cote Roti, thanks!

That was very entertaining. It is 12:30 in the morning and I interupted my Harry Potter reading to check out the episode and just laughed more with each new site. You have a great creative team to put all those sites together so quickly, very impressive.

    Thanks for the laughs!

GQPRV- Not sure how I’ll remember all the initials, but it’s a small price to pay for what you do. This show was one of the best ever, as you approach 300, not just because of the good juice, but because of YOU!

QOTD- It’s a great community. The nut cases are the best…like you, Kahuna, Francis, GRE, Brandon, LP, SS, SoCal, Jameala, TimF, Waibeans, DirtBag, and many more who I apologize for not mentioning, crack me up every day. Cheers to all!

Okay, so I totally loved the treasure hunt, and it even included the extra “jumping of the shark” so my hat is off to you. Funny moment in my local wine store today while a poor woman sat looking at some zins and had no clue. The guy at the store was basically an idiot and very little help. It was great to encourage her to try something new since she had been buying Dancing Bull for the past couple of years. I basically gave her the encouragement to try different things each time and just have fun with it.

    Hey gary,

good episode..also I badged you up on my site, and put links to you on a few of the different pages in my site.

QOTD: Seriously, this community is the coolest thing since forever!

Its saturday night, classic episode, and the scavenger hunt was a lot of fun. I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend!

QOTD: I think the WLTV community is awesome and a shout out to you for giving it a place to exist.

That just made my day! Only a guy so far off his rocker could have thought of different wetbsites to show off what he was thinking. But I liked how he wasn’t offended at the end.

QOTD: I’m fairly new to WLTV but I’m learned a lot and loving it!

That was great!!! I am very computer illiterate, but still did the facebook thing, because I wanted to see what was going on. This is fun. That is what we want and why we come back for more. So. Thank you Gary for it all. I hope it continues for quite some time. Now, if I could just get my wife into wine…..

Thanks so much for the creative and hilarious treasure hunt. The passion you have for life and what you do is amazing. I also appreciate all the wine knowledge that you’ve been so gracious to share with the Vayniac community. I’ve learned a lifetime of information from your episodes!

Loved the scavenger hunt Gary, keep up the awesome work.

Yeah, I followed the yellow brick road too. Cracked me up. I started to wonder how many steps it was going to take.

I keep passing out your web site to people who ask me about wine info, but if we are going to change the wine world, we are going to have to do something about Minnesota’s wine shipping laws.

We can’t receive shipments from out of state, which is a major problem because we are so far from the east coast that our selection of European wines is a bit stifled. I can’t find half the wines that you peak my interest in around here, and I want to have my own sniffy sniff.

I just had to go back through all of your cheese pairing episodes to find the name of one of my new favorite cheeses, La Tur. I will be serving that tonight with a decent bordeaux, but not with a 2003 Poliziano Vino Nobile Di Montepulciano Asinone, because I can’t find one here.

    I do appreciate your effort.

    Gary,

Everything was great, but my favourite “show” was on the Yellow Tail Chardonnay.

One idea for a future show: taste off with Vino Nobile, Chianti Classico, and Brunello.

    Best,

oh my that was rich! those scavenger hunt links just got better and better. this blog and 277 episodes of content is changing the wine world, like a virus, infecting the host and spewing droplets all over the net infecting wine naifs everywhere.

my local wine shop is pushing that mollydooker stuff for $24.99–how to know to spend some dough?

thanks for your effort and free entertainment and most of all free shipping.

    CLASSSIC!

You get a little adversity and what does it do? Just make the show stronger. You NEVER fail to deliver. Best Show Yet! Nuff Said.

Didn’t get to watch until today because the ep went up later than usual (now I know why).

Have a good weekend G “GPR” V thx for everything. I didn’t get the last wristband, but I anxiously filled out this form.. have to mark the occasion somehow ;)

Yeah… WLTV is a lot of fun and very informational. Thanks again! Hope your sales are going through the roof to make this freebie worthwhile. Can’t wait to try the wines you mentioned today.

    Bwahahahahahahahaha! I love it.

Thanks for a fun run around the ‘net, Gary.

As for the whiny wankers: Uhm, people? You’re bitching about someone’s BLOG, for pity’s sake. Here’s a nickel. Go buy a life!

Great show! Even better, um, answer to those of who complained about the Facebook thing (I still stand by my e-mail to you, though). I cannot wait until the new improved Cork’d hits the scene. Wine is FUN!

    Deadman

The best thing about WLTV is that it’s just Gary being spontaneous…along with his excellent palate, of course (believe me, I’ve generally found his evaluations to be substantially more complete and valid than Parker’s and Laube’s, just to name two).

Why would anyone want to reign him in or try to mold him? It would ruin the show and make him miserable. I’m looking forward to hearing him shout, “Friend me up!” for just as long as he damn well feels like it, even though I have very little interest in virtual society. If he’s having good, healthy fun with it, then I’m happy for him, even if I’m not with him on it.

Gary, I was concerned that you were bummin’ even the slightest bit over all that nonsense and glad that you got pissed off enough to throw it back in our faces with a sense of humor. Just keep doing what you’ve been doing. Don’t ever stop saying, “Sniffy, sniff.” You can’t let the inmates run the asylum, even if they’re Vayniacs. So some of us start bouncing off the walls at you once in a while? So what–the walls are padded! Just don’t forget to duck next time. You were good in the middle at dodge ball, am I right?

And thanks for not making me suffer through two more Mollydookers with you by taking them to Facebook ;-)

Got to give it to you, GV! I went to turn the computer off last night and did a quick check to see if an episode was ever put up. I could not help but click on the garyissorry.com link and away I went! Awesome, dude.
Thanks, seriously, thanks. I’m starting to think that you just might pull off that Jets purchase!

You Rock GV! I love desert wines. ie. 2003 Chateau Guiraud. QOTD: I freakin love it!

  24. July 21, 2007

    life's too short...

man, great stuff, all round. the runaround web sites, the “acting!”, the heartfelt “here’s what’s up, in case you didn’t get the sarcastic/ironicisiticisms.” QOTD: yeah, this is pretty darn great, as you’d say. a lot of people need to relax, though, because what you’re doing isn’t OWED to ANYONE. you do it as a service and because you love it. thanks for doing it, bro, you rawk, and it’s MUCH appreciated.

    Awesome job again GV!

I’m looking forward to more installments from http://www.garycanwinenerditalldayifyouwant.com. I better bookmark that one.

By the way, can you show me how to tie that particular tie knot? I love it.
