It appears Sir Givvy is colour-blind. Shame, that, given the superior lighting in this episode. Of course, he wouldn’t want to be seen as “sharing” the wine with us, as Gary is wont to do before sticking his nose in the equine anus for a sniffy-sniff!

QOTD Close to 50/50. Whites would be higher were it not for the hideuous Oak Monster.

I am liking the new character.

For me the really funny thing about this video is that compared to the tasting videos on Wine Spectator this has more energy and life and actually makes them feel like watching paint dry.

QOTD: 60% red and 40% white

Gary,The show was great, but you weren’t there?I/we want you back also here in Finland, because you are the best when you are that a original Gary Vay-ner-chuk, so yourself. And when you taste SA wines again?please,do that soon.

qotd: much like Dominus: more red in winter, more white/rose in summer. I try to drink all across the spectrum, really. I was becoming a red only person there for awhile, but now that I’m back onto whites and roses, reds are for rich foods ONLY! A cab does NOT go with a salad people!!!

  14. July 28, 2007

    Dominus

The real G-Man can’t get back soon enough. Ouch!

    QOTD: Dependss on the season. Spring/Summer: 50/50 Fall/Winter 90 red/10 white

    John Blue Label

You gotta love this! Gary does a parody of Gary. What an utterly pretentious snob! The Anti-Gary!! I can’t believe he stayed in character the whole time. Great job. Must be trying to work up to a Hollywood screen test someday!
    QOTD: 90% red, 10% white.

    Nancy

    QOTD: 90 red / 10 white. . . almost all champagne.
And by the way Sir Gary, the lighting used for this episode rendered more accuracy in color than anything you’ve done before.

  17. July 28, 2007

    Jeff

QOTD: 51% red, 44% white, and 5% rose since December of 2006 (per my CellarTracker notes).

Sir Gary, Thank you so much for subbing for that loud, unsophisticated Gary. It was an honor and pleasure to hear from someone so totally arrogant and pompous. Tally ho. I drink about 90% red and 10% white.

  21. July 28, 2007

    C DiFranco

    75-80% red, 20-25% white
