Lol, a funny bit, i'm assuming that 'Sir Gary' is supposed to be a bit of an old school English gentleman stereotype? I'm a Brit. and very much enjoyed this, good to see Gary not taking himself too seriously and being a 'self-depricating' Englishman (on our behalf!).

QOTD: Being in England, it's probably 75% Red, 25% White, it's nice to have some lightly chilled whites in our short summers but it can be hard to get inexpensive white wine that can be drunk by itself that has the killer combo of flavour and still keeping the acidity balanced so you can drink more than a glass without feeling like you're burning your stomach!

This was a fun episode. I enjoyed the concept. You won't make it as an actor, but that was very enjoyable.

I'm running about 40% white, 25% red, with 35% for dessert or rose. In non-dessert wine I actually prefer red, but I almost always have my wine over dinner and white is more compatible with most of what I eat these days. I am looking forward to the weekend, though, when I'm going to grill a steak and have a massive cabernet.

I drink probably 85% white to 15% red. Two years ago it was probably reverse. I really prefer this style of Gary to the other one. Keep these coming!

Corton can really be austere. My first intro to Corton was different as well and I couldn't see the value - but once you have a few...their intrigue hooks you! Plus, the '04 Jadot was a more traditional year in Burgundy. The '03 Vincent Girardin you were loving - '03 was HOT so it had all the fruit and "applesauce" which is just very atypical of Burgundy.

Found this episode after you twittered about Sir Gary. It almost reminds me of watching Stephen Colbert - hilarious, authentically inauthentic and I couldn't get enough. When you said the 3rd wine smelled like "Italy in the country time," I think you meant that it smelled like "County Time [lemonade] in Italy" - otherwise, what the heck is "country time"?

QOTD: 60% red to 40% white

I HATE this eps. It didn't have the energy that's normaly on the show, it wan't funny at all and boring as can be. If it wasn't for the fact that I like Gary's shows and content I would have quit watching with in 10 mins.

If I was someone new to the site/show, I wouldn't come back.

Please make tomorrows show like you normaly do Gary PLEASE!

QOTD 75% White wine : 25% Red wine

Anyone who didnt like this episode clearny has no sense of humor. Not to be attacking people, but this was brilliant. This is why I love your show so much. I was almost laughing too much to hear half the things you were saying. QOTD: 90% whites, but I did drink a nice Italian red the other day, so I am getting better.
