Lastly, I don’t like this wine at all, but a lot of people I talk to really enjoy it. I would be interested to see what Gary thinks, but the wine is sold out at WL.

great job on conan last night. One of the funnier segments that I’ve seen on the Conan show in a long time, and I’ve been watching Conan’s show for a good 10 years now

QOTD: Lets go big and let’s go expensive. Something fun that should really bring the thunder, so here’s the 02 Gros Richebourg: http://winelibrary.com/reviewwine.asp?item=32468. Of course, maybe that wine is more Sir Gary Vaynerchuk’s style, so maybe he can make an appearence :)

Thanks for spotlighting the more affordable wines! (I wonder what the average price of the wines featured on the Conan show is!!!)

QOTD: You’ll enjoy the Klinker Brick zinfandel from Lodi!

Again, Gary, great show. Can’t believe you tried to get Conan to suck your sock on TV. (Shouldn’t that be on Cinemax or something?)

Gary, great job last night — keep going! I enjoyed the SLATE article too, even though he’s “calling you out” on some things, he really does get it. It’s not easy bringing twitter, viddler, the web, NBC Universal, the East, West, up and down coasts and the entire wine world into one big community that’s just trying to make the world a better place. Seriously… keep bringing the thunder bro.

¡Bienvenidos a la programa de treuno!

Last night was true gonzo brilliance, but what exactly was the dirt+cherries+cigar red on the table? Were you trying to slip Conan the Chinon?

I’m not saying anything more about Hecula, lest I get smacked again.

QOD: I had this last week (ok, an earlier vintage, but still) and it was a VERY pleasant surprise, so let’s do it:

First of all, WOW, you were hilarious last night. Great props, that is awesome how much Conan got into it. I think that you/we/everyone is changing the wine world…how exciting. I have a few friends that saw you last night and called me up and were like, is that the guy you tell us about all the time??? He is hilarious! So hopefully we will have a few more vayniacs in the vayner-nation.

QOTD: http://winelibrary.com/reviewwine.asp?item=5628 Megan and I had this in Italy and actually visited the Rivetto winery. This Barolo is from their Guilin vineyard which is good but the Leon vineyard designate is even better, it kills. So if you carry that one, drink it, but either way it is good.

Hey, BF – Spot on with that 88 on the Hecula…..

Gary, thanks to Anti for the YouTube link (www.youtube.com/watch?v=Crimi2famPA) I’m going to have a laugh now, boy he’s tall and you’re not.

QOTD – Go on, do the Monecastro, pleeeeeze – (http://winelibrary.com/reviewwine.asp?item=32249) you know I’ll just keep asking you until you crack.

Good to see you came back…thought you might stay out in Cali and take over the show.I had the 2004 hecula and totally cocure with you that it was good, but not great. On another note…I had the Terlato Shiraz from Victoria and got to tell you that I thought it warranted a rating of 88 for me…it was interesting to see how our palates differ.
