GV: It has been a long time since I have laughed so hard at the TV. Just what I needed! Thank you so much. Had to go on medicine that didn’t allow me to drink wine for 3 weeks. Today was my first day I could lift a glass and to do that and watch you was heaven on earth. You have made me try new wine’s and feel sorry for all of my wine snob friends that won’t drink anything not red or from only one region.
Thanks again for helping us change the wine world.

GV: Your interview with Conan was hilarious!! You are one wild and crazy guy!!I don’t think you got the whole terroir thing across to him though. I was hoping he would try the asparagus sweaty sock.

QOTD: How about some Greek wines???

    Gary,

How about something from Georgia, the supposed “cradle of wine making”?

Oh no, you hurt the Mottster?!
QOTD: I don’t know, but it should be like a Barry-White-song-seductive wine or something… something big, red, and bold. because, hey – it is the couch. Sass it up a bit.

    Gary,

I need to tell you that I think you might need larger servers, because it is taking forever to see your videos all the sudden.
Anyway, have you ever reviewed BOX WINE? Maybe Franzia, Delicato, Hardy’s and Black Box?

I know there huge in the wine world and would like to get your take on them.

That’s why you are da man. I have tried the Step Rd and loved it and now I can’t order a bottle! It’s sold out! Anyway, great show and above all, last night waqs absolutely HILARIOUS! I was rolling the entire time and even the little woman was overwhelmed. A classic!

QOTD: Since I don’t see any Reignac, Dominus or Flowers Pinot, let’s go with this Spanish gem.

Very fun with Conan. TiVo’d it and watched it when I came home from work this evening. Even got my wife to watch, and she was thoroughly impressed and we all laughed at the antics. I am totally amazed that your Jets bucket made it on the show too. Great job.

Now on to catching up on the last two ep’s….

Your bit with Conan was hilarious. The dirt & tobacco, the tie and also Conan sucking on his sock!?!?! I nearly p****d my pants. Great article in Slant as well. Keep bringing on the thunder!

Any show with Gruner veltliner’s would be great.

    Gary,

Awesome show last night with Conan. I was trying to imagine how that was going to go, like was he going to do a desk interview or have you do your very entertaining wine tassting schtick, but I loved the “teach your palate” format. That was hilarious!

Tonight’s show (WLTV) was awesome also. I have liked other CyT Marques de Casa Concha wines, so I’m looking forward to trying the Chard. Also picked up a bottle of the Hecula last week and will probably open it tomorrow.

    Qotd:
Keeping with the theme of affordable good wines (that you carry), Irecommend the following:

Catena Malbec 2005 Catena Zapata On SALE: $14.99
    http://winelibrary.com/reviewwine.asp?item=30778

I have had it several times and believe its a good value, and a great alternative to the over-hyped (and over-priced) PNs.

    Thanks and Congrats again!

Gary-I LOVE snow peas!!My family used to grow them in Indiana. I miss fresh snow peas!!! As you can well imagine, we used to grow or had quick access to many types of fresh foods that I now reluctanly buy in the grocery.

Besides Conan, you were also featured on the Fox News D.C. video blog ‘media.myfoxdc.com/my5/my5.html’. Check out their recommendation of the ‘tv.winelibrary.com’ bringing merlot back! Btw…..keep the video’s coming……I look forward the them the same way I use to look forward to Batman!

What exit did the dirt that Conan ate come from? I’m suprised you spared him the sour cherries wrapped in a bloody venision steak marinated in V8. It would be fun to see Conan on your show someday sporting the smoking jacket and ascot we saw him wear in Napa on Youtube.

QOTD: How about trying a REAL, undisputable wine cocktail like Canella’s Bellini. How about a feature of some Greek wines like a Moscofilero from either the folks from Boutari or Anastasi?

WTG on Conan GV! The wife and I watched it when she got home from work and we were both falling out of our chairs. You nailed it for sure man! I also thought it was great to see you back today with a very business as usual attitude. I’m sure it must’ve been a very very self empowering moment and it’s nice to see you didn’t (at least not today) change your style. It’s worked thus far man, don’t change it now. I’ll post a thread to this affect in the forums also… keep the scores!
