This wine is still relatively fresh, and it really shocked me with the age on it that it wasn't a little more gone. I think I might disagree with you on the window, but I'll have to see if I can find some of the 2007 Fume Blanc for comparison. Not likely, given the local liquor store had the 2005 still, but I was pleased with it, and given my desire to drink more european wine and white wine in 2009, I think there was really something to like about that bottle. If you still have one laying around, or if there is another one available in town, I would love to see you taste it again sometime.
