QOTD: All of my dress shirts. Its amazing that one manufacturer can get so much variation in the same template.

QOTD – I have a real Swiss Army knife and a fake one. I don’t even dare use the fake one, lest it cause an accident of some kind.

QOTD: I have a NON Crocs pair of shoes and a real Crocs. No comparison once they are on your feet.

GREAT SHOW. I like that you are throwing in more educational stuff!

Lars, excellent intro, you’re a natural. Gary, can you bring in a translator for that football speak please?

QOTD – No, blank on that one.

QOTD: My left and right leg. Both are about the same size, same shape and at first glance you’d think they would be used for the same exact function. HOWEVER, when one leg is going forward the other leg is going backwards. CRAZY. Wait until I explain more. I was playing a little judo the other day and when I was leg tripping a guy my left leg was off the ground but my right leg (same size and shape still) wasn’t moving at all. I mean, it was sta/tion/ery. I tried putting my left shoe on my right foot, didn’t work. I tried walking with both feet moving in the same direction; my wife asked me why I was jumping. I said, “what are you freakin’ taking about? I’m walking!!” I mean I think a god, when making us, might make two legs that at least could wear the same shoe. Then you wouldn’t have to buy two.

Nonsense GV! The punt is what the Jets offense should have used in the Vikings game. Punts > Turnovers.

I’m a huge fan of the Terlato-Chapoutier Shiraz/Viognier so I’m looking forward to Innocent Bystander.

QOTD: My identical twin sons. Look the same. Wildly different personalities.

Just stumble on this show today. Its just ironic that an Aussie gets on a yanky show to find what is good back home….just as ironic as the game of Football is played with their hands and the foot is so seldom used people are not aware what a punt is used for…..hmmmmm better stick to the Aussie wines… Great show!!

Great episode. I had always wondered about the punt, and you explained it so throughly. Thanks for that.
QOTD: My desk chair vs my boyfriend’s chair. They are the exact same model, but mine doesn’t lean back and his does. I prefer it my way and he prefers it his, so it works out.

QOTD: All the identical twins I have ever met… usually one is very outgoing one, and one is very shy. As an aside…I have a twin brother, and people actually ask me if we are identical..hellllllooooo…I’m a girl..he’s a boy…

It took me a little bit to figure out you were actually saying the word “HEN.” (Good to see Lars is coming around again!)

Sorry, Gary, but even as a fellow Jersey Boy (even if I’m a Giants fan), I’ve gotta give props to Lars for his pick. Not bad.

Lars rules! (And, Vikings ruled the Jets last night!) I love the Tarkenton jersey (the most exciting quarterback in NFL history). Lars, I’m from St. Cloud, if you have time, visit my website and drop me a line at my email.

Gary, I love the recycled paper (printed on both sides). It’s nice to know that WL is such an efficiently run operation.

Congradulations on the spectacular Jets performance yesterday, they looked stellar. Pennington’s arm strength was showcased beautifully w/ those blazing 5 year screen passes…and those 2 interceptions were spot on baby! Way to go Green slobs- see what happens when you mess w/ Big Blue? Eat it.

Gary, I love the recycled (printed on both sides) paper for the Ask WLTV segment. It’s good to see that WL is an efficiently run organization!

I lived in Minnesoootah for 5 years so I enjoy doze intro’s from Lars doncha know – highly entertaining. This was a GREAT episode Gary. Last time I tried the Parson’s Flat was the ‘03 vintage. Big over-the-top fruit and a very silky mouthfeel (the best part), but otherwise rather unidimensional and just not interesting enough for me to spend 30 bones on it again. Regarding the question on wine cellars, it’s hard to argue the point that a built in closet or full boat cellar is the best arrangement. However my basement is not amenable to that so I have a Vinoteque unit (seats 285) that has served me very well over the years. The two best pieces of advice I have if you’re going to get a cooling unit are: 1) Buy a much bigger unit than you think you need. In fact buy as obscenely big as you can afford so it can accomodate all the great wines that Gary is recommending. 2) Buy one that has flexibility built into it. In other words one that will seat all the friggin oversize bottles (tall and fat)that are so popular nowadays. This criteria is harder to meet than it sounds when it comes to predesigned units.

My youngest is holy terror into everything and everything goes into her mouth. I love them both the same but man what a difference in the two. Thanks GV and WLTV crew.
