Hey Gary,
Just got a chance to watch the 300 episode (sorry I’ve been swamped lately) but I just wanted to give a shout out to you for tasting the 2000 Taittinger Rose. I shared a bottle of that with my father in law and his wife (it was their anniversary present) on my wedding day last year. A very special bottle to be sure; thanks GV and congratulations on all of the success.

Ratings suck? Nah. In every case I like a Parker 98 better than a GV 78. Okay, yeah, maybe we could quibble and debate – your 89 is my 91. But if I’m looking for something to celebrate the big deal at work with, I’m going with a 90+ (or 95+), not the 2-buck Chuck that I had last weekend and was great with burgers on the patio.
