It took 301 episodes, but I finally got to see you stick the cork in the lens!
    Awesome!

LOVED THE EPISODE!! I love Pauillacs! QOD: First episode I watched was the episode JUST BEFORE the episode last August where you had to leave early due to either a ‘bachelor party’ or a ‘wedding rehearsal party’, you had a score of wine on the table, and someone comes up to you, whispers in your ear, and you announced you had to leave! LMAO!!!! That’s the episode that hooked me (although, you said in LA that many wineries were pissed! :) ) I saw that and told everyone I knew (just about :) ) to tune in to WLTV. And they have…:)

One more thing… tks for tasting the 2001 Lalande. It was the last wine I bought 2 cases of….

And since several episodes back you threaten to punch me in the throat/or face or something extremly violent like that.. if we ever bought more than a case of any one wine…. Well I’m just glad I have that much to enjoy. Not such a bad deal to have so much though now is it!!!!! >:-)~

Great episode. I’m sorry to hear that the 2004 Lynch Moussas disappointed. The 2000 was a great buy, and it hasn’t increased much in price. However, the 2000 had lots of Cab fruit. Love those Bordeaux!

GV, Another awesome episode. and congrats on passing 300! I Love old world wines and only wish I could afford more world class Bordeaux. I’ll just have to live my wine life somewhat through you.
QOTD: I’ve introduced a lot of people at my winery to your episodes and now a bunch of us are addicted. Our winemaker is now an officially certified Vayniak. We ARE changing the wine world.

Gary!! Once again, great show! The thing I love about WLTV is that you truly are changing the wine world. Because I live where I live, mid-america, wine drinkers and makers in this part of the US think completly differ then people say from Cali, or New York. So with that said, your show is bringing all differ types of wine lovers together, and tearing down those walls of “tredition” that have hurt the business for years.

When I was a kid my mom made cherry pie with a pine cone crust.

Disclosing your decanting for the wines should be mandatory. I’m calling my Congressional Representative.

    Poo-Yak.

    I prefer Ed Coleman.

    Poo-Yak.

    Hostess blueberry pie?

Like pinot? You mean it’s thin?

Lynn Swan on Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood.

    This message is time sensitive.

I wish I was there too. Can I have a job?

Swedish wine? I thought it was Poo-Yak.

I fully had Ram-Man. He had that switch on the back of his leg. Brilliant! I can’t wait to hear the Kahuna comments about Ram-Man.

Outside of eggplant is wicked bitter!

    Give Parker a Ram-Man.

    Sancerre?

I know how much you like Pee-Wee.

You might want to let that cool down first.

    QOTD: Sorry, I got nothin’.

Great episode Gary! I really like the episodes where there is a theme, or some sort of common aspect to the wines that bring them all together. I can’t explain why, but that makes the episode 10028393 times more interesting.

QOTD: I sent the the episode where you ate everything under the sun to train your palate to my boss and his wife. They both thought you were insane, but loved the episode. Now they watch all the time!

No longer a lurker. I’ll try to keep on commenting… I mean after all it takes all of a minute to do.

Great episode. Definitely gives me a few more wines to check out when I get the chance. Keep rocking on.

    Lack O’ Comments? NOOOOoooooo!!!
We can’t have that. I know I owe you lots and lots of my cents. (Certainly not my wine sense, as I have a very miniscule amount).

Have to tell you, though, I tried my first Petit Verdot (unblended) completely because of you and your opinion of the grape. And what do you know? It’s my most favorite wine this month! Thank you for putting the idea in my head, GV!

Love this episode. Very recently, I had the 2001 Reserve De La Comtesse, brought to us by dear friends to a tasting held in our home. I scored it 89, but I felt priviledged to try it, and very pleased by the characteristics of it. Nice pitch of the cork (not the first time it stays in the lense).

I bet they’re awesome, but my yearly wine fund is empty, beat, very beat! Great show though!

Sweet show! Keep the Bordeaux shows coming. There is a lot I need to learn about this region.

QOTD: I’ve told ya about this before but at one of our company parties I was talking with a couple of clients while having a glass of wine and we began talking about some of our wine experiences. WLTV was brought up. We were all Vaynicacs. Talked about the show for a ½ hour. Dave and Harry stop lurking!

I’m officially no longer a lurker! Great episode…makes me want to go out and get all of the wines you tasted in this episode. Keep up the great work!

Hey GV. Love your work. Nearly caught up with all episodes.

Have you thought of doing an episode on the fabulous Australian Fortifieds from Rutherglen in Australia? Incredible Muscats, Tokays and Tawny Ports that regularly achieve RP 100 points (and are still available at ridiculous prices is comparison to other 100 pointers).

Thanks for your show from one of your growing band of Aussie viewers.

Gary, I subscribed last week, and here’s a quick comment to show some love.

Love the show! Love the descriptions! Love the energy! Great show!

My suggestion is to do a Photoshop Contest. Take a snapshot of one of your episodes and use it as a source image. Or just have people submit any kind of “funny” wine related image so that you can choose your fave.

Great Episode GV. I am learning to appreciate Bordeaux.
QOTD: Somehow get the show on YouTube. That way I can watch it on my iPhone.

    Gary,

Been trying to catch up on back episodes since Conan. Still love what you’re doing.

Firstly, for your iPhone giveaway. It should be interactive…may sound stupid but review a easy to find wine (still tasty though) and have people guess your score on it. I’m sure a little too simplistic, but first thing that popped in my head.

Secondly, I think some people are scared to buy wine based on things other than labels or point scores. I know I don’t want to be let down if I’m throwing down $20+ on a bottle of wine that is unknown to me. In the same turn, it’s all about trying new things and learning what you do and don’t like. Basically, I think the show about labels would be a great one.

    Keep it up!

    Cheers,
    E
