GReat show. Very entertaining. I was happy to see the Oak Monster dancing all over the gym class. I’ll never think of the OM in quite the same way again.

QOTD: Root beer, and it isn’t close. I never get it, though. My wife hates the smell of root beer so much that she won’t let me have it. I make a special point to get some when she goes out of town.

First off, that gym comment had me rolling. Youve got some great one liners, though I was really hoping you would have taken a serious bite out of the desk. The Paso Robles wine sounds great. Ive tasted a few wines from that area and like them both, so its a place ill have to look more into in the future. QOTD: Root beer, baby! Henry Weinhards all the way. Classic draft REAL root beer. None of that water, sugar, and caramel color garbage for me.

QOTD: Not much of a pop drinker, but of the choices, Cream Soda, no question.

Gary, 9th grade gym class reference may have been your finest moment, at least worth 98 pts. QOTD blackberry soda. What is your thought about Picpoul wines, had a couple 06’s recently and was pleasantly surprised, especially one that was $6.99. Keep up the good work, you seem to operate on another level from the other critics we’re force-fed.

“More wood than a 9th grade gym class with a bunch of pretty girls”…I’ve been watching the show for 4 or 5 months now, and this has got to be one of the best quotes yet! It deserves its own t-shirt!!!

    1) are you drunk by now?? that would explain why you chewed the desk.

    2) looking at that striped shirt for so many episodes reminds me of Look at My Striped Shirt Guy. This is hilarious: http://www.lookatmystripedshirt.com/articleLAMSS.asp

    3) i think i ran into those steak-eating stock brokers you mentioned on Thursday at STK (i dont recommend), they were annoying.

    4) QOTD – is dr. pepper the same as cherry cola????

I love Root beer in a float and Cream soda in a Stockade.
What, you’ve never heard of a Stockade? That’s because I invented it.
Combine Cream Soda, Malibu and ice in a blender. Blend and serve. Invented at the liquor table at an apt. wide BBQ in my old home in the Stockade neighborhood of Schenectady, NY
You know the liquor table – everyone brings something half empty from their stash, and you get happy trying new combinations. It’s the adult version of messing up the kitchen. I should start that up again, and offer internships for future bartenders. Next summer, next summer.
