Gary, I just found your TV tasting note on Grimaldi Dolcetto â?? I received a few phone calls looking for this wine, they said they saw it on your show. If you think that his Dolcetto is interesting, you should try his 2003 Conca Barolo. Beautiful!

This should be an interesting week. I hope the wines in the future bring the thunder unlike this show. The Jets losing to the VILE Patriots might have something to do with it, though. God do I hate the Patriots as well. Almost as much as I hate the Red Sox. To me, the Red Sox are the evil empire. QOTD: Laziness. I see so much of it at work it drives me insane. My co-worker and I make constant sarcastic remarks about it. Its basically one of the few things at that job that keeps us sane.

Another varietal Lemberger…..interesting….another one to look out for…and happy to see the Dolcetto came up to mark….

I've had blaufrankish in the Hungarian wine Bull's Blood where they call it kekfrankos, but not a German one where they call it lemberger. I have had a zweigelt from Austria though which is a cross between blaufrankish and st. laurent (of the pinot family). However I just got a hold of a Washington state blaufrankish which I'm eager to try.
