If you like Mayer-Nakel Spätburgunder (pronounced with a long-A, by the way), there are better producers on the Ahr. Check out Thomas Nelles (http://www.weingut-nelles.de). Not sure you can buy them in the States, but they make exceptional wines.

Good show. I’ll try a pinot in the future and try to dig it (hopefully). QOTD: Im not mad at Pinot. Although it is the choice of the wineries to set the prices, it was Hollywood that sparked the rage with the movie. Even if I pay $25 for a wine, if Im really happy with it im ok.
