QOTD: I dont watch a lot of TV. I usually dont watch the big networks. I watch a lot of food network and discovery channel. Alton Brown on Food Network and Mythbusters on the discovery channel are my favs. The History Channel is great stuff, too.

Hey, the Sequoia Grove sounds like a must-try, though it may be hard to find here (and with no shipping to Washington State - ARGH!).

QOTD - “Numbers” and “Bones” are always worth watching and the premier of “Reaper,” “Life” and “Chuck” were all pretty good (I’m also addicted to “Familiy Guy” and I’ll even admit it!). Not a big fan of any of the “reality-shows” on TV.

Gary, great show on the Napa cabs. I’m not yet willing to drop serious bones on any wine yet, but I’m looking at the ‘05 Phelps Innisfree, and I hope it turns out to be a good value.

QOTD: I’ve really been enjoying Entourage, Weeds, and Californication.

QOTD: Do Good Eats and Dirty Jobs have new seasons? Those are really the only shows that I get excited about watching.

I don’t watch real TV. WLTV is it for me.

QOTD: I don’t watch much TV. Currently re-watching rented DVD ‘Twin Peaks’ episodes.

Finding decently priced Napa cabs does seems to be difficult. Maybe I am not looking hard enough.

Gary, I suggest popping in a dvd of Slingblade,Rushmore or To Have and Have Not or perhaps some original Star Trek with Spock and Captain Kirk(greatest tv show of all time). This will get your mind right.

Ok, I’m doing it - I’m finally going to stop being a LURKER and make a comment. How can I not after the shout out to Marathon Data??? That was fantastic!!!! Gary I work with Danielle at Marathon and have been watching wltv for a while with my husband - but only last week put two and two together that Brian works at THE wine library :) Pretty funny - but anyway I enjoyed your shout out. That was very cool. I have to give my husband Brock all the credit for “discovering” you online - he kept telling me about this online blog about wine and I was just like yeah yeah whatever for a while. Then I finally watched one with him and just thought you were crazy. But now I have to say you’ve grown on me : ) Your shows are great and a lot of fun. And I like that you make it real for everybody and not all stuffy. I used to think of the Wine Library as just a place I recognized on the way to Short Hills mall but now I can’t wait to come back up to the area and check it out!

So this is what it feels like to finally come out…FUN!

I’m thinking the new show “Journeyman” might be fun. Its a little “Quantum Leap”-ish, so that can’t be all bad right?

Too bad about the St. Oroppas, I had high hopes to see if they duplicate the quality of the’03…oh well.

Just curious, and this shows how much of a lurker I have been, what’s the status of a comment that says ‘your comment is awaiting moderation’? It (my comments) shows here as posted with the other comments, but is it hidden or something until it’s approved? And are all comments moderated or is that because I’ve not posted before?

Nice people at St. Clement. My wife and I went there while we were on our honeymoon 10 ys ago and they set us up with a couple of their wine glasses and a bottle of their wine. Nice present, only so-so wine, but they did make an impression.
