QOTD: Chrono Trigger. I was just finishing up college when Chrono Trigger hit the US. I loved that game. Sadly, my SNES broke. Years later I bought a PS One solely for the purpose of playing the Playstation release of Chrono Trigger. (Multiple endings! C’mon now.)

Runners up: Zelda & its sequels. And Tetris. I played so much Tetris in college that I sometimes dreamt full games in my sleep.

Old school Atari: Those are the video games I grew up with as a kid. Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, Space Invaders, Yars Revenge, Breakout—ah, the memories.

Old school arcade: Tempest is one of my favorite video games of all time. Other games I often played in arcades include 2-player Tetris, Centipede, Galaga, and Ms. Pac-man.

Computer games: Prior to Shadowgate and the like, I played C prompt text adventure games on a Tandy.

And now I really, really, really wanna play some games.

Port: I have an unopened bottle of 1994 Dow’s. It was a gift. And now I’m as tempted to crack it open as I was when I first received it a few years ago—now that I know it would drink well today. Must… not… open…

Cheese: I still haven’t gotten into bleu cheeses, much to the dismay of many friends. It’s not that I haven’t tried any (I have). It’s more that I just don’t like them as much as other cheeses. I’ve never tried Roaring Forties though. Hmm… note to self.

This was a great episode !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyhow hmm this is a tough question I would have to say Legend of Zelda, or Double Dragon 3 Love those games!!!!!!!!!!! I still play a lot of them on my computer not going to say how…… Its funny I have bought a bunch of Port from Winebid but have never had any hahaha sill ha? I was going to wait for Christmas to open a lot of it since the snow and the fireplace seem to make for a better mood. Dude I am so sick right now ( I have a terrible cold) actually I am having some trouble trying to stop coughing. Anyway Love to flavors you mentioned in Port, and I will open some up for sure once it gets a little colder out. How is life going with you my friend? I read about the guy from Terroir going away, his writing will be missed, he had some great articles. I recently saw Resident Evil 3 it was good, but not as good as the Hype. Anyway take care bro

Hey, is there a Winelibrary Fantasy Football League or pick’em league? There really should be. The Loser Bowl would be fun if GV was in it and angry about his picks on the eps.
Maybe its just a crazy lurker idea….

Legend of Zelda or Super Mario 3 for regular Nintendo, Super Smash Bros. Melee or any Zelda for the other Nintendo systems…

P.S. Gary, I am really liking these last episodes with the foods (the cheese, pizza, etc)!

PS: you should know better than to EAT ANYTHING in London. England has the worst food of any nation in the world. Brit cuisine is an oxymoron. When traveling in the UK, you must either live off PowerBars that you’ve stashed in your luggage, or find a French restaurant. Or at least, find an Irish pub, and get some corned beef and cabbage.

I had a cab-port blend at a wine tasting last year that blew my mind. I wish I had bought some because I have since forgotten the name of the wine maker. **sigh**

QOTD: Probably a tie between Super Mario 3 and Mike Tyson Punch-Out.

I remember I was playing Tecmo bowl when the earthquake of 89 was going on here in the bay area. My favorite would have to be Mike Tyson’s Punchout.

I enjoyed Snoopy’s Silly Sports Spectacular. I was really young when I was playing Nintendo, so it kind of reflects in what I liked to play. I also liked to play Duck Hunt.
