QOTD: Stomach sickness? Then the obvious 7UP or Sprite. Non stomach sickness? As soon as I feel it coming on, I start drinking bourbon because it’s delicious and more importantly, though it weakens your immune system, alcohol does kill germs.

There’s no crying in baseball! Just so you know, there will be no future authorized sick days. You have a ‘public’ to satisfy each and every weekday :)

    Gary,

The key is to “over juice” yourself! Cranberry, orange juice, grapefruit juice, gatorade, H2O, H2O, tea, etc…flush it right out of your system! Hope you feel better, thanks for letting everyone know! Take care…

QOTD: Sprite/Gatoraid Get a little sugar and/or electrolytes that you need esp if it hurts to swallow or you can’t hold much on your stomach. Chicken soup is awesome too. Drain off the noodles and the meat chunks if you are on a liquid diet for the time being. Once when I was sick I tried a plain can of chicken broth, and I don’t know if it was a bad brand or what, but it was horrible, lol. And when I was in school, if I had to miss a day, I would always watch one of the Star Wars movies (episodes 4,5 & 6). It was a bad year if I got to watch the series a few times each semester.

Any excuse to stay home and watch “Saved By The Bell” reruns… isn’t that what we all do when we’re home sick, whether we admit it or not?
