Get better, we can survive a day or two without you.

QOTD: Chicken Noodle since I always go for soup when I’m not feeling great.

Love the 120 site. WebDrifter always has me rolling, good to see you have great taste in podcasts as well.

Ahhh still sick, well I wish you to feel a lot better, take all the restime needed. I know how to say in French = poireaux et pommes de terre soup, lol. Also a good carrot & creme soup is yum. Home made are best.

    Take care Gary – :)

Gary – soup doesn’t work as much for this kind of thing. To really get better, you need to push some adrenaline into your system by getting excited by something.

Personally, I suggest offering us free shipping with the code “garygetsbetter” which will allow you to feel the excitement and quantify that excitement with the code phrase. Your subconscious is bound to absorb this subliminal message way better than your body absorbs the (over-rated) soup.

QOTD – Homemade chicken noodle soup when I am under the weather. Otherwise Creamy Chicken Wild Rice

Get better!! We can live our lives a day or two while you get better. I would rather not have a couple of shows, then have you down for the count.

My favorite soup has always been Lipton’s soup… but when I was a sick kid, my parents’ homemade chicken soup trumps all.

    GET BETTER BIG G.!!!

QOTD: I think I gotta go with a throwback to my childhood: Chickerina. I don’t know who made it, but it was basically a version of Italian Wedding soup with tiny spherical pieces of pasta, some green leafy vegetable (maybe spinach), carrots, maybe some diced tomato, chicken pieces, and these little tiny meatballs. I used to have it at my Grandmother’s house all the time. Great QOTD, great memories.

QOTD: I tend to just like a good beef consume when I’m sick. Sometime homemade french onion soup will hit the spot too. I hope you feel better soon, but take it easy man! :) Being sick isn’t all bad. It can be a nice change from the hubbub of everyday life, and it brings a tenderness that, if embraced, can be somewhat pleasant.

btw, today’s episode isn’t downloading in iTunes properly.

Coincindentely, i got sick yesterday too (and some other co-workers) After a crazy monday night with my friends (and lot of wine) and a short sleep with no blankets. But after a Pho soup, everything is back to normal now.
Rest well and see ya tomorrow.

Gary, please get well and take it easy, learn to listen to your body dude.

QOTD: White Pozole, Red Pozole, Caldo Tlalpeño and Sopa de Tortilla… mexican food FTW!!!

Recupérate pronto Hermano. (get well brother)

Ha bro get better! I hope that you make a full recovery. My favorite soup is Pho, love the stuff. Anyway take care of yourself ok!

    Lee Ritscher

Potato leek soup. It’s good for you, with lots of high anti-oxidant leeks and onions, and no phlegm causing cheese or dairy products. Sounds like you could use a batch. Poor thing…

You do look awful, but I bet you could make yourself look that way when you were 12 and you really didn’t want to go to school.

Soup– Cuban black bean soup… also good for all sorts of ailments.

    Die-Lon

I second Alex’s idea with the Pho. Fantastic Vietnamese soup with incredibly large portions for cheap. Maybe put some Rooster sauce and some mint in there. It’ll clear you right up and send you off to make more Wine-Library TV.

    Shedding my lurkerism.

Brunswick Stew! It’s got beef, pork, and chicken, with potatoes, corn, and other stuff. Broth is thick, and super flavorful. Great for a cool evening or just to make that bloody cold go away.

    TWofPasadena

Chicken & Wild Rice in a toasted bread bowl with plenty of Parmesan. Good stuff.

    Feel better.
