Nice wine. I need to find that, or something very much like it, out there somewhere.

Actress: Haven’t seen Michelle Pfeiffer recently, and that’s a big bummer. Paul Newman kicked the bucket, so that leaves us with Robert Redford, whom I also haven’t seen recently. How about Meryl Streep? Hard to go wrong there.

Damn Gary, I hope you got better. At least you braved it and came in. At my job too many people pull the “im sick” card. Funny how someone calls in sick when its 85 out then are ok the next day… QOTD: Johnny Depp. Hes always willing to take any kind of role and the way he plays it you feel like it was made for him. Hands down the actor to have never won an Oscar that deserves it the most. Hell in my mind he deserved the Oscar for Dead Man, but we all know no one watches Jim Jarmusch movies. Okay maybe not for Dead Man, but dammit I love that movie!!

Hi Gary, nice tongue action. I guess your wife must be very happy ;-)
Btw there is a spelling error in your subtitle: It is “more than enough” NOT “more then enough”. If there are any doubts regarding spelling ask your sister she is the teacher of the year. I know I am a pain in the arse.

    Matt the Lurker

MSFT? GOOG? How exactly do you go about growing the earnings of a multi billion dollar corporation anyway? I’m glad that’s not my job.

QOTD – I’ll say Steve Buscemi. Mostly because he’s been in every movie ever made. That’s got to mean something!

What? Alan Rickman? Why, because he is going to be in Bottle Shock? Actually, I enjoy him quite tremendously in Love Actually. :|

2001 Lascombes – Could you please keep the “good” comments on the Ch. Lascombes down. LAscombes has been the red headed step child of Parker for so many years and I have been collectin, he has started to get on board very slowly from 2000, and I am afraid to see what happens post 2005. 2006 is in check (even though 20 bones greater). I got the 2000’s for $29.99….. Shhhh…. Please…..

Hey Gary! I can do the pitch-fork tongue thing! Although I can’t bring it out of my mouth as far out as you do…

QOTD: for men, Kevin Spacey is still the man, and for women, Natalie Portman, but really only from her role in Leon: The Professional.

    Hope you’re feeling better man.

I enjoyed your brief discussion about why a wine is a 92 and not more. Most of us just don’t get to experience a 95+ wine and I often wonder how those mountain top wines bring more thunder than say a really great wine like my first paradigm shift wine ‘82 Heitz Martha’s (93 points ws). Your discussion about the variety of flavors etc was very interesting. Looking forward to the rest of the week. – I did send in my wrist band photo! Clooney for male and Kate Blanchette for female.

Gary, I’m glad youre back, and I appreciate the Bordeaux rec. QOTD: Christian Bale. He always does interesting stuff. Gary- I just opened a 04- cab and there’s a white sediment in the bottom of my glass. Can white wines have sediment like red wines? Or is that something else?
