qotd: I was treated to a Clark Claudon 2003 last night that was delicious, and tricked when I thought this extremely old bottle of wine I tried before the Claudon was going to be bad because it was so old and the top 3rd of the cork was completely absorbed by a mushy black mold. That wine turned out to be really good too.

My wife just got back from the Rockies, visiting one of our sons, where she acquired a taste for the 7 deadly zins.

Cool concept for the episode, but Im sorry they didnt dazzle the ol’ taste buds. Oh well, your pain is our gain (passing on the wines). QOTD: Treat: Dinner at Cafe Juanita a month ago, which is always a fantastic experience. Trick: Letting this election (2008 Presidential race ) get to me with all the lies and bashing from both sides.
