I've never had a Barolo but after watching this episode I am most definitely going to give it a shot. Thanks for the recommendation!

Better late than never... QOTD: I can't pick just one! I can say I love the more feminine style from La Morra. One of my favorite producers is Mauro Veglio (next door to Altare, and referring to episode 210, I agree with you Gary, Altare is certainly not my fave. I'd always pick a Veglio over Altare). The M Veglio Gattera vineyard is a great value and usually ready for more early drinking but I usually prefer the Arborina vineyard for longer aging. Of course now I have to contradict my preference for La Morra Baroli and say one of my all-time favorite producers is Conterno Fantino of Monforte d'Alba. Recently I had also a Dom Clerico 1998 Percristina and it was divine. Another one I really enjoyed recently is the Castello di Verduno Massara Vineyard 2001. It was lovely, perfumey and so elegant.

Barolo's good stuff, but still like a Brunello more. So much for that Jet QB. <a href="http://www.winelx.com" rel="nofollow">www.winelx.com</a>

qotd: I have but only a couple of times when a distributor is hosting a tasting of their portfolio, haven't rolled the dice on buying one yet, so I can't say I have a fav.

You still a Kellen fans, Gary? The good thing is that you can always just slap a "Sanchez" name tag on that #6 jersey. Haha.
