Thanks for trying the Kirklands so I don’t have to buy them all and find out they suck. There are many more Kirkland wines at Costco (Napa Cab, Italian Neb, Champagne etc.) How about a part 2 episode? Costco is all about finding good QPR…

QOTD- First big crush (GV recommendation on the back is a nice touch…)

    Hey Gary

Good show. I’m really impressed that you happily tried supermarket brands that you would never stock yourself.

QOTD: I’m currently reading ‘The Quary’ by Damon Galgut. Apart from watching you while I eat breakfast each morning, I also read http://www.winorama.com.au – it’s probably the only wine site I check everyday.

    Thanks Andrew

Believe it or not Kirkland Wines are shipped to France and soldout throughout the country under their own private label called ‘vin du Sellouts’, the labels are painted with green backs, and on the back it says (in French ofcourse)’when you have no place else to go, have too much money and no sense of your own buy this! S’il vous plait assist la super power!!!

Just lost a lot of respect for old Nick. This crap reminds me of Tyler Florence for Applebees and Wolfgang Puck for Home Shopping Network. Selling out never looked so bad.

QOTD: Breakfast of Champions, and lots of wide open literature.

I felt compelled to comment just based on the fact that Gary used the phrase “suck-ass lurkers”. Can’t wait to see what you’re sampling from Michigan. Really hoping for something from Lone Oak!
